Prior to her current position, Ms. Cagan was president of DiCi Services from 2001 to 2011. During this tenure, she oversaw all aspects of the company's operations, demonstrating a strong ability to lead teams and drive organizational progress. She began her professional journey as a lab manager at Coca-Cola Consolidated from 1992 to 2002. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring quality control and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

A significant milestone in Ms. Cagan's life was completing her Bachelor of Science in individualized study with a focus on quality systems development at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Despite not attending school earlier in life and becoming a single mother at a young age, she persevered through numerous challenges. Balancing multiple jobs to support her family while serving as her daughter's Girl Scout leader demonstrated her remarkable determination and resilience. She was particularly motivated by the goal of graduating just before her daughter finished high school, ultimately achieving this accomplishment through steadfast dedication.

In all her work, Ms. Cagan attributes her success to her flexibility and willingness to adapt to new technologies. She values openness to feedback and embraces self-improvement as a continuous journey. She has also furthered her industry expertise through membership with NAWBO Richmond, the SOVA Chamber and the Chesterfield Chamber. Ms. Cagan is also an alumnus of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program which she graduated from in 2019.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Cagan has maintained active involvement in civic-minded organizations. She has served as a leader and trainer with the Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council previously. Her commitment to community service extends to a combination of volunteering and financial support for organizations such as Dress for Success Central Virginia and Miko's Sanctuary, a senior dog rescue, plus mentoring up and coming entrepreneurs. In recognition of her entrepreneurial efforts, she received the Comcast Rise grant in 2024.

Currently, Ms. Cagan plans include launching a consulting firm as a compliment to her current business. She is mentoring a key employee to take leadership of her current company when she transitions to the new consulting firm permanently.
