Prior to joining Nufology Plus, Dr. Arimescu served as a senior expert and advisory engineer at AREVA Inc., later known as Framatome Inc., from 1999 to 2022. During this period, he made significant contributions to the field by developing advanced tools for understanding nuclear fuel behavior. Among his most notable achievements is the creation of the first realistic methodology utilizing statistical analysis to assess fuel performance, a pioneering approach that would be recognized today as an artificial intelligence methodology. This innovation, succinctly referred to as Rodex4, has had a lasting impact on both theoretical understanding and practical applications within the industry.

Dr. Arimescu's expertise was further demonstrated through his participation in two major global research programs that brought together all the leading organizations in the field. As part of one of these initiatives, he led a workshop focused on analyzing fuel behavior under transient conditions, resulting in several published papers and presentations at international meetings.

From 1989 to 1999, Dr. Arimescu was a senior researcher at AECL and head of the Fuel Modeling Group, where he continued to advance research in nuclear fuel modeling and performance analysis. His earlier experience includes serving as a researcher at INR Pitesti from 1980 to 1989, where he laid the groundwork for his future innovations by focusing on fundamental aspects of nuclear engineering. Throughout his career, Dr. Arimescu has been an active member of the American Nuclear Society and contributed to several activities in the framework of the International Atomic Energy Agency, reflecting his commitment to professional development and engagement with peers in the industry.

Dr. Arimescu's academic background has been instrumental in shaping his career achievements. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Romania in 1987 and a Master of Science in engineering physics from Bucharest University in 1979.
