Between 2019 and 2021, Mr. Bhatt held the position of technical program manager for security, privacy and user trust at Google, where he was instrumental in developing policies and procedures that safeguarded sensitive data.

Before joining Google, Mr. Bhatt built a strong foundation at NetApp. In 2019, he served as technical program manager for vulnerability management and the computer security incident response team (CSIRT), overseeing critical incident response initiatives. From 2018 to 2019, he was program manager for governance, risk management and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. His tenure as technical program manager for identity and access management from 2016 to 2018 saw him lead projects that fortified NetApp's authentication systems. As a senior identity and access management engineer from 2015 to 2016 and a senior identity and access management operations engineer from 2014 to 2015, Mr. Bhatt contributed significantly to operational excellence in securing enterprise environments.

From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Bhatt worked as a senior identity and access management architect and engineer at TechDemocracy LLC, where he designed scalable solutions for clients' evolving needs. He previously served as an enterprise risk services consultant at Deloitte from 2010 to 2012, providing strategic guidance on risk mitigation for diverse organizations. His early career included roles as identity and access management architect and engineer at TechDemocracy LLC from 2008 to 2010, business process analyst intern at Celanese Corporation in 2008 and software project trainee at Zensar Technologies Ltd. from 2006 to 2007.

Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Bhatt has demonstrated a commitment to advancing cybersecurity practices through research presentations and knowledge sharing. Mr. Bhatt's academic background has been integral to his success. He earned a Master of Science in information technology management with a focus on management information systems from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2008. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in information technology from the Pune Institute of Computer Technology in Pune, India, which he graduated from in 2007. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Bhatt won second prize in the middleware category at IEEE Impetus 2007 for the project "RFID Search Via IVR," an accomplishment that continues to be recognized by his alma mater through annual invitations to judge the competition.

His professional credentials include becoming a certified information security manager through ISACA in 2021, a certified information systems security professional through ISC2 Inc. in 2018, a certified cloud security professional through ISC2 Inc. from 2019 until 2022 and a certified information privacy professional/IT through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in 2011. These certifications have reinforced his expertise in managing complex security environments.

Mr. Bhatt attributes his achievements professionally and personally to the unwavering support of his wife and children, whose encouragement has allowed him to excel during demanding periods of work. He also credits mentors, managers and senior peers who have shaped his problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills throughout his career.

His contributions have been recognized through several internal accolades at NetApp, including IT recognition for fiscal year sixteen quarter two, chief financial officer peer-to-peer recognition, finance and operations leadership team award, spot award for multi-factor authentication project and employee recognition for fiscal year sixteen quarter one.

Born in Akola, Maharashtra, Mr. Bhatt comes from a close-knit community where family ties remain strong; his parents and younger brother continue to reside there while he maintains deep pride in returning home as an accomplished professional. His younger brother works remotely as a clinical research analyst in the field of biomedical sciences.

Outside of work, Mr. Bhatt enjoys taking care of his children, one of whom is passionate about history, numbers and collecting stones, and capturing lunar eclipse photographs as part of his interest in astronomy and astrology. He is also an avid reader of fiction and self-development literature.
