From 1993 to 1994, Mr. Jackson was the European head of equities and global equity sales at Credit Suisse First Boston, overseeing operations and expanding the firm's presence in European markets. During the previous year, he served as the director of United States equity research, managing research initiatives and supporting investment decisions for institutional clients.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Jackson was the director of equity research at First Boston from 1985 to 1990. Under his leadership, the research department consistently ranked among the top three in the Institutional All-America Research poll and achieved either first or second place in the Greenwich Associates poll.
