Ms. Schleutker has built a distinguished career in the semiconductor industry, shaped by her diverse expertise in startup innovation, mentorship, project management, and marketing. Since joining Qualcomm, Inc. in 2001, she has held multiple roles and currently serves as Director of Program Management. In this capacity, she leads the global launch of strategic programs, working closely with entrepreneurs and government entities to drive innovation and support "make in country" initiatives.

One of her most impactful contributions at Qualcomm has been spearheading a specialized program that empowers individuals to solve real-world problems based on their unique needs. This initiative has delivered transformative solutions across sectors such as soil retention, security, finance, and healthcare. By emphasizing the importance of patenting ideas, the program has shifted entrepreneurial mindsets globally—resulting in 3–5% of startup-related patents now originating from these efforts. Her work has not only generated economic value but also helped startups retain equity and save lives through technology.

Beyond her corporate roles, Ms. Schleutker her leadership also includes being part of a small global team that advanced CDMA roaming and connectivity worldwide. Notably, she played a key role in launching CDMA in Southeast Asia, bringing cellular infrastructure to underserved regions—a milestone that earned her Qualcomm's Outstanding Contribution Award in 2013.

Before beginning her journey at Qualcomm, Ms. Schleutker earned a bachelor's degree in high tech management from CSUSM College of Business Administration in San Marcos, California, in 2001. To augment her knowledge and qualifications, she was certified as a project management professional (PMP) by Cornell University in 2023. Along with her education, she credits her success to the remarkable colleagues, inventors, mentors and inspiring women who have supported her throughout her journey.

Outside of her corporate work, she is deeply committed to civic engagement and mentorship. She serves on the executive leadership committee for the San Diego/Imperial Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and has been a mentor with STEM Advantage since 2023, helping students from underserved communities pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Happily married for nearly 20 years and a proud mother of two children, Ms. Schleutker enjoys attending live concerts, reading, hiking, going to the beach and spending quality time with her family. Going forward her focus is continue making a lasting impact and connecting meaningfully with others through all she does in the technology realm and beyond.
