From 1980 to 2008, Mr. Hansmann worked in finance, managing wealth for three families through a family office. Mr. Hansmann's academic background includes five years at Hamilton College and a master's degree in creative writing from Bennington College in 2011. In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Hansmann has served as the co-chair of the New York Metro Area Hamilton College Alumni Association, demonstrating his commitment to community engagement and leadership.

Mr. Hansmann's most significant career milestone was transforming a dilapidated nursing home into the Prospect Street Writers House. After acquiring the property, he undertook extensive renovations that preserved the Victorian façade while demolishing approximately 75% of the original structure. The project was completed and received an Architectural Award from the Vermont chapter of the American Institute of Architects for its innovative design and historical preservation.

Mr. Hansmann attributes his success to curiosity and a deep interest in understanding people. These qualities have enabled him to build meaningful relationships throughout his career.
