In this capacity, he oversees four to five hotels, with a focus on managing underperforming properties and implementing strategies to improve their performance. His responsibilities include monitoring daily bookings, adjusting rates, strategizing with property teams through weekly meetings and ensuring optimal deployment and distribution across all market segments, including transient groups. Additionally, he supports the acquisitions team by conducting proforma market research and compiling reports for the company while managing owner relations for the properties under his supervision.

Prior to joining Springboard Hospitality, Mr. Wada was area director of revenue optimization at Elevat3 from 2021 to 2022. During the previous year, he served as area director of revenue and distribution at Highgate, where he managed revenue strategies for a portfolio of hotels and ensured effective distribution channel management. Concurrently, he held the position of complex director of revenue management at the same firm.

Between 2016 and 2019, Mr. Wada was director of revenue management at Kokua Hospitality LLC after filling the same role at Highgate from 2015 to 2016, where he was instrumental in driving top-line growth through data-driven decision-making and collaboration with property teams. In 2015, he worked as a corporate revenue manager at Aqua-Aston Hospitality, playing a key role in centralizing revenue management processes and supporting the company's diverse portfolio.

For the preceding year, Mr. Wada was director of revenue management at Outrigger Enterprises Group, having been promoted from complex revenue manager and guest service manager, holding each of these positions for one year. His tenure with Outrigger began as a guest service agent from 2010 to 2012. He commenced his professional work in hotel management at The Kahala Hotel & Resort and Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts after working in the cruise industry with Paradise Cruise Inc.

Among his many professional milestones, Mr. Wada is particularly proud of his achievements at Courtyard Mariott Waikiki Beach, a RLJ Lodging Trust property. During his tenure there, he navigated significant challenges related to ongoing renovations and underperformance. His efforts not only improved the property's standing but also established his reputation within the industry.

Throughout his career, Mr. Wada has demonstrated proficiency with various revenue management systems, distribution platforms and property management systems while working with some of the world's largest hotel brands, such as Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt. He has also contributed his expertise to independent and condominium hotels. His collaborative work with major ownership groups includes Host Hotels & Resorts, RLJ Lodging Trust, and Rockpoint Group, further underscoring his versatility in asset management and owner relations.

Educationally, Mr. Wada's background includes earning a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in Honolulu in 2008. He has further enhanced his credentials by completing coursework in hotel real estate investments and asset management through eCornell, equipping him with advanced knowledge critical for asset evaluation and strategic investment decisions.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Wada attributes his professional success to passion and humility, qualities that have shaped his approach throughout his career journey.
