Dr. Missildine has established a distinguished career in public service, law enforcement and the judiciary, marked by three decades of dedication and leadership. Since 2019, he has served as a judge for Collin County Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 in Plano, Texas. In this capacity, he is responsible for completing dockets, conducting all-day trials and managing court operations. His broad role also includes working on campaigns and participating in online meetings related to his ongoing military service, as concurrently, he holds the rank of captain in the Texas State Guard under the Texas Military Department. Dr. Missildine expertly commands a training unit based in Dallas and ensures operational readiness for his unit.

From 2013 to 2018, Dr. Missildine excelled as the senior deputy at the Collin County Precinct 4 Constable's Office in Frisco, Texas, building upon his tenure as the chief deputy from 2013 to 2016, where he managed departmental operations and supervised personnel on behalf of the elected official. In this leadership capacity, Dr. Missildine also contributed to the effective administration of law enforcement services within the precinct.

Before his tenure in Collin County, Dr. Missildine served as the deputy constable with Dallas County Constable Precinct 2 in Garland from 2005 to 2013. During this period, he developed expertise in both criminal and civil law enforcement procedures and was recognized for his commitment to public safety. From 2000 to 2005, he worked as a police corporal at Tarrant County College, providing campus security, conducting investigations and partnering with students on safety initiatives, and in 2000, Dr. Missildine served as an agent trainee with the United States Border Patrol, gaining critical experience in federal law enforcement operations.

In each distinct role, Dr. Missildine relied on valuable law enforcement experience earned as a police officer at West Texas A&M University from 1998 to 1999. He initiated his career with the Potter County Sheriff's Office in Amarillo, Texas, first as a dispatcher before moving into jail operations. After completing police academy coursework and earning his peace officer license in 1996, he was promoted to full deputy sheriff. Notably, Dr. Missildine also became a paramedic and served as one of the main medical officers within the jail facility from 1995 to 1998.

Dr. Missildine's professional affiliations include long-standing membership with the Justice of the Peace and Constables Association of Texas since 2005. He has also served as a past education committee member for this organization and currently holds positions as a judge advocate on the board of directors for the North Texas Justice of the Peace and Constables Association and is the chair of its education committee for all judges and clerks. Additionally, Dr. Missildine is a member of the State Guard Association of the United States.

Dr. Missildine's academic achievements have been a driving force behind his professional success. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in criminal justice from Midwestern State University in 2013 before pursuing graduate studies. He now proudly holds a Master of Science in leadership from Grand Canyon University, which he finished in 2016, and a Master of Public Administration in criminal justice with a concentration in law enforcement administration from Columbia Southern University, dating to 2014. Additionally, Dr. Missildine completed a Doctor of Philosophy in industrial and organizational psychology from Grand Canyon University in 2021, a milestone he considers among his proudest accomplishments due to the challenge of balancing rigorous doctoral studies with full-time work and family responsibilities.

A range of industry credentials further define Dr. Missildine's profile and include the designation of military emergency management specialist–basic from the State Guard Association of the United States, granted in 2020, civil process proficiency certification dating to 2014, master peace officer ranking from 2013 and firearms instructor, which he earned in 2012. Additionally, Dr. Missildine holds a peace officer instructor license from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, and he completed the basic and advanced SWAT courses through Dallas County Constable Precinct 4, as well as basic hostage negotiation through Collin College.

Dr. Missildine attributes much of his success to values instilled by his parents, who modeled self-reliance and the relentless pursuit of personal goals. He also values opportunities for civic engagement, and since 2019, he has served as a club administrator for Plano Sunrise Rotary under Rotary International. Additionally, Dr. Missildine is a board member for the Plano Independent School District Education Foundation.

A series of distinct accolades has marked each of Dr. Missildine's exemplary milestones. He was awarded the Service Medal from the Texas State Guard in 2023 and the Builders of Justice Award from Legal Aid of Northwest Texas in 2022. He also accepted the Legal Advocate Award from Legal Aid of Northwest Texas in 2022 and an Achievement Medal from the State Guard Association of the United States in 2021, and Dr. Missildine was named the Deputy Constable of the Year by the Justice of the Peace and Constables Association of Texas for both 2017 and 2018.

Dr. Missildine is devoted to his family life with three sons. In his personal time, he enjoys playing video games, engaging in three-dimensional printing and painting projects, working on automobiles and remodeling his home. Looking toward the future, Dr. Missildine remains committed to serving and improving his community through continued military involvement and government service, endeavors that reflect where he believes his skills are most influential.
