She currently serves as the pharmacy technician coordinator, program director and instructor at Caroline Center, a position she has held since 2023. In this capacity, she is responsible for teaching pharmacy theory to students, overseeing the pharmacy technician program and managing the curriculum. She coordinates with other instructors for pharmacology, pharmacy mathematics and pharmacy amp classes, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience.

In this leadership role, Ms. Adams forges relationships with community pharmacy settings, hospitals and closed-door pharmacies, as well as maintains partnerships with external organizations to provide hands-on learning opportunities. She also ensures compliance with Maryland Board of Pharmacy requirements for student experiential learning.

Prior to joining Caroline Center, Ms. Adams worked at the University of Maryland Medical Center for three years, during which time she gained valuable experience in pharmacy operations and technology.

Supporting Ms. Adams's professional endeavors has been her academic journey, inclusive of her pharmacy technician certification, which she earned from Caroline Center in 2018. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in health care management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, further enhancing her ability to lead and educate within the health care sector.

Throughout her pursuits, Ms. Adams has been recognized for her professionalism, dependability and unwavering devotion to excellence. She is particularly proud of her reputation as a friendly and reliable employee, consistently leaving a positive impression on colleagues and students alike.

Instrumental in Ms. Adams's accomplishments as an educator and program director has been her expertise in curriculum development and team leadership.
