Currently semi-retired after a distinguished career of four decades in product management and business development, Mr. Bejcek is now making an impact in the health and wellness sector. He operates under the brand name ask coach Roger, through which he is dedicated to coaching and consulting with individuals — particularly those aged 35 and older — to help them prioritize healthy eating and lifestyle choices. As a certified health coach, he networks through various sales programs, plans and conducts workshops, and produces the informational podcast "ask coach Roger." His program focuses on four pillars: opening one's internal pharmacy, living healthier, eliminating waste and living without pain and inflammation.

Mr. Bejcek is also a franchisee with the Juice Plus+ Company — a role he has held since 2011 — where he builds teams and promotes products supported by clinical research. His journey into health coaching began after he was influenced by Dr. William Sears, a prominent pediatrician and spokesperson whose health coach certification program Mr. Bejcek completed in 2014. This marked a significant turning point in his life as he embraced health coaching as his true calling, finding pride in his resilience and ability to overcome setbacks.

Prior to his endeavors in health and wellness, Mr. Bejcek served as vice president of business development at Statesville Roofing & Building Restoration from 2007 to 2010. In this capacity, he contributed to the company's growth and strategic direction, becoming widely known as "the roofing guy" throughout the Triad region of North Carolina. From 2005 to 2007, he worked at Lowe's Home Improvement, first as a cabinet specialist and then in store management, where he advanced to sales manager.

From 1994 to 2002, Mr. Bejcek was the plant manager at JMS Southeast, a private company specializing in temperature sensors. He managed manufacturing, safety and maintenance operations and played a key role in the company achieving ISO 9001 certification.

Earlier in his journey, from 1977 to 1994, Mr. Bejcek operated as a realtor and general contractor with Roger Bejcek Construction, building homes and managing residential real estate sales for nearly two decades. His early career included positions with Rubbermaid in Wooster, Ohio, where he worked in product development and marketing. His career began with Frigidaire Products, a Division of General Motors in Dayton, Ohio.

Before venturing onto his multidisciplinary path, Mr. Bejcek earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Ohio Northern University in 1967 and returned to school in 2001 to complete a Master of Business Administration in business at Gardner-Webb University. Dedicated to the ideals of lifelong learning, he became certified as a L.E.A.N. health coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute in 2014, further enhancing his ability to guide others in health and wellness.

Throughout his life, Mr. Bejcek has credited the four pillars of health — Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition — as central to his personal and professional success. He attributes exercise with saving his life and emphasizes the importance of one's attitude in overcoming adversity. After recognizing the need to improve his lifestyle and nutrition at age 63, he adopted a more plant-based diet that resulted in significant weight loss and improved his all-around health. His approach centers on eating real food in moderation, which he believes has made a profound difference.

Civic engagement is another central part of Mr. Bejcek's life. Since 2011, he has served on the Business Advisory Council for Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina. He is an active volunteer with the Lutheran Church, where he has been a member for over 50 years and served on the church council for two decades. He has also volunteered with the Rotary Club, supported Christian Ministries and contributed to the Truth Girl Program at Crossroads Care Clinic, a pregnancy resource and pro-life center active in local schools. His community leadership includes serving as president of the Home Builders Association five times and volunteering on the Ireland County Planning Board for eight years. He currently serves on Statesville's planning board.

Also enjoying an equally rich personal life, Mr. Bejcek and his wife, Ann, have shared 58 years of marriage together, both having attended Ohio Northern University as she studied pharmacy while he pursued engineering. Their three children reside in Montana, Tennessee, and Colorado Springs, and he is deeply proud of their achievements and the eight grandchildren they provided. A passionate fan of Major League Baseball's Cleveland Guardians, he also enjoys reading, woodworking, traveling to visit his children, exercising and fishing.
