As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Anako has established a distinguished career defined by her excellence in innovation road maps and her commitment to advancing opportunities for others. In 2025, she founded the Kechi Impact Group, where she serves as its founder and chief executive officer. Through this venture, she has taken pride in building an organization that underscores her values and vision for impactful change, particularly in the realm of STEM education. She is currently leading two major initiatives: a mentorship program designed for young engineers and professionals entering the workforce, and a collaborative project to develop a STEM curriculum for middle school and high school students in Charlotte, working alongside various local organizations.

Prior to launching the Kechi Impact Group, Ms. Anako held the position of market technology development manager at Corning Inc. from 2021 to 2025. In this capacity, she was instrumental in driving technological advancements and fostering collaboration among diverse teams. Her leadership contributed to the company's forward-thinking approach and its ability to adapt to evolving market demands.

From 2020 until 2021, Ms. Anako served as a talent acquisition program manager at Corning, contributing her skills in project management and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives. Earlier in her tenure at Corning, she served as a senior application engineer between 2015 and 2020 and as a senior manufacturing process engineer from 2011 to 2015. Throughout her time at Corning, she valued the diversity of talent among her colleagues and found fulfillment in collaborating with like-minded professionals who shared her dedication to innovation.

Providing Ms. Anako with a strong technical footing and critical problem-solving skills that have been integral to her success across multiple roles was her academic background. While obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering in chemical engineering from the City College of the City University of New York in 2007, she also gained foundational experience there as a research associate. Subsequently, she earned a Master of Science in chemical engineering from Columbia University in the City of New York in 2010, serving as a graduate research assistant at the institution between 2008 and 2010.

Highlighting Ms. Anako's commitment to excellence and continuous learning are her several professional certificates. In recognition of her contributions to the field, she received the Black Engineer of the Year Award in 2025. Additionally, she is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Tau Beta Phi Society.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Anako's dedication extends into civic engagement and community service. She volunteers with Beds for Kids and Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, demonstrating her commitment to supporting families and promoting literacy within her community. As one of the founders of Introduce a Girl to Engineering, she actively encourages young women to pursue careers in engineering and technology.

Reflecting on her journey, Ms. Anako attributes her achievements to resilience, patience, hard work and an unwavering belief in doing good while maintaining integrity — a philosophy instilled by her parents' emphasis on honesty and diligence.
