Before joining Precisely, Mr. Pierre was Senior Vice President of Global Customer Support at NielsenIQ from 2023 to 2024. There, he continued his commitment to operational excellence by overseeing more than 500 global technical and data support team members and implementing best practices that enhanced client engagement and satisfaction. From 2022 to 2023, he served as Vice President of Customer Service Excellence at Tax and Accounting - North America, a division of Wolters Kluwer. In this role, he was instrumental in driving initiatives that elevated the standard of customer service across the region, for over 1.2 million customer interactions, with a focus on process optimization and team development.
Between 2019 and 2022, Mr. Pierre served as General Manager and Partner for Azure Customer Experience Engineering Support at Microsoft in Atlanta, Georgia. He led engineering support teams dedicated to enhancing the Azure platform's customer experience, earning recognition for his leadership with Microsoft Leadership Stock Awards in 2021.
Mr. Pierre's fourteen-year tenure at IBM is particularly noteworthy for his innovative contributions. As Program Director for Data and Artificial Intelligence within Expert Labs & Learning, CX Management & IBM Global Elite Program from 2017 to 2019, he led the development of a Global Elite Program that supported a customer portfolio generating approximately $2.4 billion in account activity. This initiative was designed to help customers adopt IBM software solutions, providing guidance on technology utilization and fostering collaboration among technologists, business partners, and thought leaders through global academy events. The program significantly increased new sales, improved Net Promoter Scores, and enabled clients to solve complex business challenges using previously underutilized software resources. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in partnering with IBM Corporate IT to support the launch of IBM WatsonX within the global support team. He led the support team that was among the first to build the corpus of data for an external chatbot in 2017, marking a milestone in the adoption of artificial intelligence with customers at IBM.
In 2016, Mr. Pierre was Program Director for CX Digital Client Care at IBM in Boca Raton, where he advanced digital engagement strategies for client support services. From 2014 to 2016, he served as a CX Senior Manager for America's Unified Governance & Integration Support team at IBM, focusing on integrating governance frameworks across client accounts.
Mr. Pierre's earlier roles at IBM included serving as CX Senior Manager for Advanced Technical Support from 2008 to 2014, where he led teams addressing complex technical issues for enterprise clients. As Senior Manager, Integration Lead & Project Manager from 2005 to 2007, he led the support unit integration of Ascential Software, Inc. into IBM. Before joining IBM, he led global support teams at Ascential Software, Inc. and Mercator Software, Inc.
Throughout his career, Mr. Pierre has demonstrated expertise in customer experience strategy, an achievement recognized by peers and industry leaders alike. In August 2024, he was selected to join Harvard Business Review as an Advisory Council Member, reflecting his influence on thought leadership within the field.
Mr. Pierre's academic background includes a dual Master of Business Administration in Financial Management and Management from Southeastern University in Washington, D.C., which he earned in 1999, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Howard University, also in 1995. These academic achievements have provided him with a strong foundation in both financial acumen and global business perspectives, skills that have been integral to his professional success. He further holds an IBM Certified Manager credential, awarded in 2019, which underscores his commitment to continuous professional development.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Mr. Pierre is actively involved with civic-minded organizations. He is actively engaged in supporting Instruction Civique Et Morale, a Haiti-based non-profit school providing education, supplies, nourishment, and sports activities for over 450 children in the town of Grand Goave.
