Additionally, Mr. McManus is currently co-leading the leading the launch of a $100+ million fund in the U.S. and Cayman Islands as Senior Managing Partner while also handling legal, financial and human resources responsibilities across several entities, Mr. McManus is responsible for assessing companies with great potential and transforming them into high-performing organizations. Collaborating with clients, bankers and lawyers to advance their strategic objectives, he consistently adapts to ever-evolving challenges while driving steadfast administrative excellence.

Since 2007, Mr. McManus has also served as the chief executive officer and president of The Corsair Executive Group LLC. In this role, he provides strategic advisory and investment sourcing expertise focused on mergers and acquisitions and emerging technology ventures on an international basis.

From 2018 to 2020, Mr. McManus was the managing director at 303 Capital Markets LLC. During this time, he specialized in investment banking and strategic execution for clients navigating complex financial and technological landscapes.

Mr. McManus' earlier career includes a transformative tenure at Goldman Sachs from 1993 to 2005. As an executive vice president, he played a key role in building the global derivatives business from its inception and facilitating the firm's transition from private partnership into a public corporation. Drawing on insights from industry leaders such as Jack Welch, he ensured that Goldman Sachs' investment banking division maintained its elite status. He was promoted to chief financial officer and chief operating officer roles within the fixed income and investment banking divisions, where he established modern financial, risk and operational management systems with direct reporting responsibilities to such firm leaders as David Solomon who currently serves as CEO of Goldman Sachs.

Prior to his time at Goldman Sachs, Mr. McManus completed the executive leadership management program at Lockheed Martin Corporation/General Electric from 1991 to 1993. His work, which focused on government and defense clients in Washington, D.C., provided him with invaluable experience at the intersection of business and diplomacy.

Hailing from an equally impressive academic background, Mr. McManus earned an executive master of business administration in business and executive leadership from General Electric/Harvard Business School in 1993. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in international economics, both from Bucknell University. Determined to make an impact outside the classroom as well, he served as vice president of finance for the Bucknell Student Government and was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

To augment his knowledge and qualifications in securities markets, Mr. McManus holds a series 7 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Reflecting on his storied journey thus far, he attributes his success to the ideals of continuous learning, a relentless drive for improvement and an understanding of both his strengths and limitations. He emphasizes that surrounding oneself with intelligent, ethical individuals is essential for achieving lasting success regardless of one's working field.

Throughout his career, Mr. McManus has been actively involved in civic organizations in support of military veterans and animal welfare. He has previously served on the board of the International Visitor Leadership Program for the United States Department of State as well as the board of U.S. Veterans Enterprises LLC. He also volunteers with the National Humane Society and supports organizations such as the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and the Wilhelm & Karl Maybach Foundation, which offers programs and mentorship opportunities for aspiring engineers.

On a personal level, Mr. McManus enjoys classic cars, jazz music, cooking, studying history, architecture and boating as an avid yachtsman. He cherishes spending time with his family — including his sister who resides in Westport, Connecticut — and is the proud owner of a Cavachon.
