TINLEY PARK, IL, December 02, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amy Lisek has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Lisek has established herself as a mission-driven, purpose-focused leader in the human services sector, with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities as well as mental health challenges. Her career is marked by a steadfast commitment to serving others, giving back to the community and spreading hope and encouragement, especially to those facing adversity.

In her most recent professional chapter, Ms. Lisek has served as a Staffing Assistant for Advocate Health Care since 2025. In this remote role, she coordinates clinical resource staffing for Advocate Children's Hospital, balancing her responsibilities through night shifts that allow her to prioritize her family while maintaining her professional commitments. This position represents a full-circle moment for Ms. Lisek, as she first interned at Advocate Health Care 14 years prior. Earlier in 2025, she also contributed as a patient care companion at the same institution, further deepening her connection to the organization.

Since 2020, Ms. Lisek has been the founder of Grace in Love, Inc., a nonprofit organization she launched at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to address the growing mental health crisis. Under her leadership, Grace in Love, Inc. has become a beacon of hope for individuals in need by providing free care packages and prayer support. The organization is entirely volunteer-run and has distributed nearly 1,000 care packages to date, including a recent significant delivery of 200 packages to cancer survivors through a hospital partnership. Through collaborations with companies such as Ulta Beauty, Bath & Body Works and L'Oréal, Ms. Lisek has expanded the reach and impact of her nonprofit. Her efforts have been recognized with a nomination for the 2025 Chicago Innovation Award and the Platinum Transparency Rating from GuideStar for two consecutive years, accolades that underscore her dedication and transparency in nonprofit leadership.

Before founding Grace in Love, Inc., Ms. Lisek held several key positions across three Chicagoland agencies specializing in services for adults with disabilities. From 2022 to 2024, she served as an ISSA Supervisor at Service, Inc., overseeing case managers and ensuring quality service delivery. Concurrently from 2018 to 2022, she worked as an Individual Service Coordinator at Service, Inc., building on her expertise in client advocacy and program management.

Her tenure at CTF Illinois began in 2016 as a Case Manager, then as Community Living Director from 2017 to 2018, and in 2018 as Program Coordinator. These roles provided Ms. Lisek with comprehensive experience managing residential and day programs for adults with disabilities, a foundation that led to subsequent promotions and greater leadership responsibilities.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Lisek was an Enrollment Professional at People HRO from 2015 to 2016 and served as Program Supervisor for Western DuPage Special Recreation Association from 2013 to 2015. She also gained valuable experience as a Music Therapist at Norwood Crossing in 2012, following her 2011 music therapy internship at Advocate Children's Hospital.

Ms. Lisek's professional journey began with roles outside of human services, including Classified Ad Representative for The Daily Vidette Newspaper in 2010 and music instructor positions at Metcalf Grade School from 2006 to 2010 and AV Music Plus from 2004 to 2006 where she taught guitar lessons to the local community.

Her academic background includes earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, in 2011. This educational foundation not only equipped her with creative skills but also instilled discipline and empathy, qualities that have been instrumental throughout her career in social work and nonprofit leadership.

Ms. Lisek attributes her success primarily to her faith in God and unwavering work ethic. She believes that dreaming big must be matched by diligent effort, a philosophy that has guided both her personal recovery journey and professional achievements. After overcoming significant life challenges that culminated in a mental health crisis and hospitalization in 2015, she rebuilt her life through faith, gratitude and renewed purpose. A transformative mission trip to Kenya later that year inspired Grace in Love's heart and vision after meeting Colleen, now a close friend and the nonprofit's Board Secretary, whose compassion left an indelible mark on Ms. Lisek's vision.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Ms. Lisek serves as Board President of Grace In Love, Inc., guiding its strategic direction while remaining actively involved as a church volunteer. Her commitment extends beyond organizational leadership; she is also an author, having published "Grace in Love: Experiencing the Transformational Change of God's Grace (A Guidebook)" through Christian Faith Publishing in 2023, a work reflecting her personal transformation, faith journey, and dedication to mental health advocacy. This year, Ms. Lisek released an inspirational children's coloring book titled "You Can Do This!" The book was inspired by children she met while working at the children's hospital. Its pages are filled with magical illustrations and uplifting messages such as "You Are Amazing" and "Shine Bright." Her goal is to donate as many copies as possible to inspire and encourage children, with 100 copies donated to date.

Ms. Lisek's personal life is centered around family values and shared experiences with loved ones. She enjoys spending summer days at the family lake house, fishing and boating alongside her husband, Jonathan and their three children. Balancing work schedules with home life remains a priority; together with her husband, she manages responsibilities through teamwork, ensuring that family always comes first.

Looking ahead, Ms. Lisek is focused on expanding Grace in Love's outreach efforts to reach more individuals who need support most urgently. She is committed to enhancing the organization's capacity by diversifying revenue streams to overcome barriers such as shipping costs and ultimately extend its impact beyond national borders.

Ms. Lisek's expertise as a mission-driven leader who is passionate about serving others continues to inspire those around her, demonstrating how faith, resilience and purposeful action can bring hope where it is needed most.
