Prior to her current position, Ms. Malone served as a strategic intelligence and operations fellow at Schneider Electric in 2024. During this period, she leveraged her extensive military background to bridge the gap between defense sector expertise and corporate strategy.

Ms. Malone's career is deeply rooted in her 21 years of service as an Army intelligence officer, where she operated at tactical, operational and strategic levels and provided strategic recommendations to senior military leaders, including four-star generals, that directly influenced key policies and operations. Her military tenure included two tours in Iraq and numerous leadership roles across the United States during non-deployment periods and culminated at the rank of lieutenant colonel. From 2021 to 2024, she was a deputy director at a Department of Defense (DoD) agency, overseeing critical intelligence operations that informed high-level decision-making.

Likewise, between 2020 and 2021, Ms. Malone was a DoD agency executive fellow, focusing on integrating intelligence insights into operational planning. From 2017 to 2020, she served as a deputy and then chief of operations, managing complex projects that required coordination across multiple agencies and stakeholders. Her earlier assignments included deputy director from 2016 to 2017, chief of operations from 2014 to 2016, executive officer in 2014, deputy director from 2013 to 2014, and associate dean of students from 2011 to 2013. Ms. Malone is actively involved in civic organizations and community initiatives. She has served as the president of the executive board for The Fort Meade Officers' Spouses' Club DBA Maryland Military and Civilian Spouses' Club since 2022, a role she previously held from 2019 to 2020, and has contributed as a scout leader with Scouts BSA.
