NEWTON, MA, December 04, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sonal Ghura Mansukhani has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Ghura Mansukhani has established a distinguished career in patient-centered clinical outcome assessment within gastrointestinal immunology among other therapeutic areas, earning recognition for integrating pharmacy, behavioral science and statistics to develop innovative measurement strategies for clinical trials. As the director of clinical outcome assessments at Takeda since 2025, she prepares comprehensive measurement strategies to evaluate treatment benefits, ensuring that patient voices are incorporated into all assessments.

In this leadership position, Dr. Ghura Mansukhani's responsibilities include analyzing data to create balanced treatment profiles, collaborating with clinical science and data analysis teams, monitoring patient recruitment and diversity, and engaging with regulatory bodies to secure approvals. She also maintains active communication with patient advocacy groups and develops studies based on patient needs while addressing ongoing issues in clinical studies.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Ghura Mansukhani served as the associate director GEO at Takeda from 2021 to 2025, during which time she advanced the integration of global evidence and outcomes into Takeda's research portfolio. Concurrently, from 2022 until 2025, she was an adjunct faculty member at the Chicago State University College of Health Science and Pharmacy, where she mentored students and shared her expertise in the field.

Between 2019 and 2021, Dr. Ghura Mansukhani held the position of senior research associate at Evidera, leading research initiatives focused on real-world evidence generation and patient-reported outcomes. Her earlier tenure as a research associate III at Evidera from 2016 to 2019 involved supporting large-scale projects that informed clinical trial design and regulatory submissions.

Previously, Dr. Ghura Mansukhani was awarded the Clarence W. Sondern Wisconsin Distinguished Graduate Fellowship in Social and Administrative Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2015 until 2016. Between 2012 and 2015, she served as a teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy, alongside her work as a project assistant at Wisconsin Literacy from 2013 to 2015. She began her professional journey as a business analyst in the health care space at Evalueserve from 2010 until 2012, developing analytical skills and gaining exposure to health care systems and market dynamics.

Instrumental in shaping Dr. Ghura Mansukhani's career trajectory was her academic background, which began with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research in 2008. She subsequently earned a Master of Business Administration in pharmaceutical marketing and management from IIHMR University in 2010, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016 — a milestone that stands out as her most notable achievement due to the societal and cultural barriers she overcame as the only female in her family to attain this level of education. With support from her progressive parents despite prevailing patriarchal norms in India, she successfully pursued higher education abroad on a full scholarship.

After witnessing her grandfather's struggle with Huntington's disease, Dr. Ghura Mansukhani was inspired to study medicine and enter the pharmaceutical profession. In her endeavors, she is recognized for her efforts to create a balanced work environment in a male-dominated field, particularly through her focus on women's health. She advocates for amplifying women's voices in corporate settings and patient advocacy groups and strives to encourage younger female colleagues by modeling leadership and resilience.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ghura Mansukhani has been an active member of the American Pharmacists Association, underscoring her commitment to professional development and industry engagement. Reflecting on her journey, she attributes her accomplishments to perseverance, grit, strong decision-making skills, faith and luck, as well as breaking societal norms regarding women's education in India.

Looking ahead, Dr. Ghura Mansukhani plans to collaborate more closely with Indian healthcare and pharmaceutical spaces, patient advocacy groups to address health care stigmas and advance patients experience of healthcare. She aims to expand her research and advocacy footprint by incorporating perspectives from underrepresented patients across various health care domains.
