BALTIMORE, MD, December 08, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Naftoli Rabinowitz has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Rabbi Rabinowitz currently serves as the co-founder and director of Keep Climbing, a role he has held since 2023. In this capacity, he focuses on addressing the unique cultural, medical, and emotional needs of Jewish families dealing with Spina Bifida, providing comprehensive support by connecting them with essential resources and individuals. He manages seven distinct support groups tailored to various life stages, assists families with advocacy and medical referrals and has established a free loan medical equipment facility in multiple cities to aid travelers who may run out of supplies. Additionally, Rabbi Rabinowitz organizes webinars featuring leading physicians and coordinates weekend retreats for families to foster community and dialogue.

In addition to these responsibilities, Rabbi Rabinowitz offers emotional and spiritual support to individuals and families confronting end-of-life situations, guiding them through difficult decisions and ensuring that their religious needs are understood by hospital staff. He provides educational classes for his team as well as the medical staff on the diverse religious practices within the Jewish community, advocates for patients during holidays by arranging services and dedicates time to listening to personal stories, demonstrating a deep commitment to compassionate care.

In 2021, Rabbi Rabinowitz began his tenure as Jewish chaplain at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he continues to serve. In this position, he delivers spiritual care tailored to the Jewish community, collaborates with hospital staff, community leaders, and community organizations to meet patients' religious needs, and supports families during critical moments. Earlier that year, he was appointed interim Jewish chaplain at the same institution, where he laid the groundwork for ongoing chaplaincy programs and strengthened relationships between patients, families, community Rabbis, community organizations and health care providers.

From 2020 to 2021, Rabbi Rabinowitz was a chaplain resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital. During this period, he deepened his expertise in clinical pastoral care by working closely with patients from diverse backgrounds and participating in interdisciplinary teams focused on holistic well-being. His initial experience at the hospital began as a chaplain intern from 2019 to 2020, where he developed foundational skills in spiritual counseling and patient advocacy.

Throughout his career, Rabbi Rabinowitz has been recognized for his contributions to the field, including being featured in Mishpacha Magazine and Ami Magazine for his impactful work. Additionally, he co-authored a research article published in the Journal of Palliative Care that addresses Jewish ethical needs at the end of life. As a commitment to professional standards in spiritual care, Rabbi Rabinowitz is Board Certified and an active member of the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) and the Board of Chaplaincy Certification Inc (BCCI).

Rabbi Rabinowitz earned a bachelor's degree in Torah law from Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2015, and later earned a master's degree in Torah law from the same institution in 2019. Building on his academic foundation, he pursued extensive professional development in spiritual care and chaplaincy, completing Clinical Pastoral Education at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in 2020 and at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2021, finishing with six units of CPE. In 2025, he became board-certified as a chaplain by the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), further solidifying his expertise in providing compassionate, culturally sensitive support.

The inspiration for Rabbi Rabinowitz's career path stems from personal experience: both he and his wife live with Spina Bifida, a congenital spinal cord injury. Their journey highlighted the need for greater support among young parents facing similar challenges. This realization led them to establish Keep Climbing with the goal of demonstrating that such conditions do not preclude a fulfilling life and that meaningful connections with doctors and resources are possible.

Outside his professional endeavors, Rabbi Rabinowitz is civically engaged as a volunteer with several organizations that support individuals facing health challenges. His volunteer work includes service with Bikur Cholim of Baltimore, Chai Lifeline, and is involved with a few other organizations. Looking ahead, Mr. Rabinowitz aspires for Keep Climbing to broaden its impact by reaching more families while continuing to emphasize the significance of his chaplaincy work within the community.
