LITTLETON, CO, December 09, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michaela Vogt, LPC, LAC, NMCF, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Marked by nearly two decades of innovation, advocacy and leadership, Ms. Vogt has led a distinguished career in mental health and natural medicine. In 2024, she became the co-founder and clinical director of The Center Origin, Colorado's first licensed healing center for natural medicine. In her role, she has been pivotal in developing and establishing access to natural medicine services with an approach that focuses on healing the mind, body and spirit.

Ms. Vogt's efforts to support the development of the state-regulated natural medicine program in Colorado include co-authoring white papers informing policy development, reviewing and participating in research to foster the development of best practices, and providing educational seminars to providers in the medical and mental health fields. As a pioneer in this field, she's created training and educational programs and psychedelic-assisted wellness services. In her efforts to further champion the values of accessibility, safety, and the sanctity of natural medicines, she is co-founding her second natural medicine healing center, NeuroAlchemy, setting new benchmarks for the health and wellness industry. This work stands as her most notable professional achievement, reflecting her commitment to transformative healing modalities that complement traditional therapy, particularly for individuals with trauma and addiction.

Since 2020, Ms. Vogt has also served as the franchise owner of Littleton-Humanly Wellness, where she fosters a supportive community for independent mental health and wellness practitioners throughout Colorado. She provides access to shared spaces, information and resources, easing the transition into private practice for many aspiring professionals. Recognizing the isolation that can accompany this shift, she organizes monthly consultation groups and professional development workshops while negotiating valuable partnerships for her members.

As the founder of SisuWell Counseling, LLC in Denver, Ms. Vogt operates a private practice that specializes in mental health counseling for individuals with trauma, anxiety, depression and addiction. As a licensed professional counselor and licensed addictions counselor, she has dedicated her practice to helping clients bridge the gap between intellectual understanding and emotional healing. Her extensive clinical experience led her to explore psychedelics as a therapeutic tool, which in turn inspired her active participation in shaping Colorado's natural medicine regulations.

Ms. Vogt's expertise was further recognized through her role as a therapist in clinical trials at the University of Colorado Anschutz, where she supported cancer patients facing existential distress. Her earlier tenure at the Mental Health Center of Denver spanned nearly a decade, during which she held positions as a licensed access clinician, clinical case manager II and residential counselor II, spearheading programs for previously incarcerated individuals re-entering the community and providing community-based services and high-intensity treatment for individuals with severe and pervasive mental health diagnoses.

Earlier in her journey, Ms. Vogt served in multiple internships as a therapist at Casement & Associates from 2011 to 2012, during which she conducted assessments and assisted with treatment plans for patients with disabilities and provided support for parental rights evaluations and expert psychological testimony in court proceedings. As an intern mental health probation officer with the 18th Judicial District Probation Department from 2010 to 2011 and an intern therapist at the Lookout Mountain Youth Services Center in 2011, she gained valuable experience in working with juveniles as well as in group therapy, case management and resource allocation.

To share insights and stay aware of best practices within the field, Ms. Vogt is an active member of organizations such as the Colorado Counseling Association, the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association and the National Psychedelics Association. Having contributed to psychedelic public policy since 2023, she co-authored the standardized psilocybin safety screening and response manual for healing centers and facilitators in Colorado — a vital guide which is now utilized statewide.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Vogt earned a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2012 and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with an emphasis in research and forensics from University of the Pacific in 2009. Determined to make an impact outside the classroom as well, she gained vital research experience through assistantships at University of the Pacific from 2007 to 2009 and served as a teaching assistant there in 2008. In recognition of her efforts throughout her undergraduate studies, she was honored with the Psychology Research Award in 2009.

To augment her knowledge and qualifications, Ms. Vogt is certified as both a natural medicine clinical facilitator and a licensed professional counselor by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies. Additionally, she is licensed as an addiction counselor by NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals and as a qualified medication administration person by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Also lending her knowledge and experience to civic engagement efforts, Ms. Vogt was a mental health therapist with Project Homeless Connect from 2014 to 2017, during which she provided assistance to attendees in need. Inspired by a lifelong curiosity about consciousness beyond brain function, she entered the mental health field driven by a genuine interest in understanding how people experience life — a perspective that continues to inform both her clinical work and advocacy efforts.

Reflecting on her storied journey thus far, Ms. Vogt attributes her success to an unwavering adherence to her morals and values. Fueled by an approach grounded in loving awareness toward others as well as herself, she consistently evaluates her business practices and services through a lens that focuses on healing individuals and communities while promoting connectedness.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Ms. Vogt enjoys playing the violin — a passion she has held since age 4 — and previously performed with the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra. Happily married for nearly a decade and a proud mother of three children, she balances her professional endeavors with outdoor activities such as hiking, paddleboarding and skiing.

Looking to the future, Ms. Vogt aims to develop a fully accredited training program for natural medicine therapy that focuses on mental health and trauma-informed care with both classroom instruction and practical training components. She is also considering founding a nonprofit organization that provides accessible natural medicine services through scholarships and sponsorships for those who are unable to afford care. Through every phase of her career, she has demonstrated outstanding dedication to advancing mental health care by integrating innovative therapies with compassionate service, leaving an indelible mark on her field and community.
