Ms. McCauley served as an associate attorney at Sweeney, Reich & Bolz LLP in Long Island between 2020 and 2021, where she was a key member of the Child Victims Act Department during the period when New York enacted its look-back statute for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Her work involved extensive participation in the discovery process, conducting client intakes and initiating cases for survivors. Ms. McCauley regards this role as among the most rewarding of her career, given the profound impact it had on both her clients' lives and her own perspective.

Earlier in 2020, Ms. McCauley worked as an associate attorney at Rozario Touma, P.C., following her tenure as an associate pending admission at the firm from 2019 to 2020. During this period, she was entrusted with significant drafting responsibilities and achieved a notable milestone by successfully arguing and winning a motion for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. It was notably the first motion Ms. McCauley had fully drafted and argued independently shortly after being admitted to practice.

Ms. McCauley's legal journey began at Rozario & Associates PC, where she advanced from paralegal in 2015 to junior and senior paralegal roles. Her early exposure to personal injury and insurance defense cases provided invaluable experience that shaped her approach to law. She also contributed as a student advocate at Brooklyn Defender Services from 2018 to 2019, supporting clients in need of legal assistance. Ms. McCauley's foundational experiences included serving as a law clerk at Pardalis & Nohavicka LLP in 2017 and as a legal intern at Daniella Levi & Associates in 2015.

Ms. McCauley's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in legal studies from St. John's University in Queens, earned in 2016, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in legal studies from New York Law School, received in 2019. These academic achievements laid the groundwork for her legal acumen and professional advancement. Beyond her degrees, she holds several certifications, including a notary public certification from the State of New York in 2020. She has also been admitted to practice by the New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts Bar Associations.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. McCauley is civically engaged through donations to food shelters, food banks and Goodwill.
