Coming from a purely technical background, he entered the field with no prior experience but embraced the challenge wholeheartedly. Guided by a supportive manager who recognized his potential, he quickly mastered concepts such as architecture design, API integrations, and proof-of-concept implementations. This early mentorship not only built his technical foundation but also strengthened his communication and relationship-building skills — qualities that later shaped his professional identity.

His journey in cybersecurity began even earlier. In 2021, he worked as a support engineer for Seclore Technology Private Limited in Mumbai, providing critical assistance to clients navigating the growing risks of data breaches during the COVID-19 era. Handling sensitive information daily gave him firsthand insight into the increasing urgency of robust security practices.

Before stepping into cybersecurity, Mr. Dharman spent three years as a software specialist at eClinicalWorks India Private Limited, beginning in 2016. As a database administrator collaborating with hospitals and clinics, he worked to safeguard patient information and ensure data integrity. His role in encrypting files against ransomware attacks — a major threat at the time — sparked what became a long-term passion for cybersecurity.

Across all his roles, Mr. Dharman has gained a reputation for understanding complex systems, offering practical and innovative solutions, and balancing technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. His dedication has earned him several honors, including Seclore's Best Employee Award in 2025 and an Outstanding Performance Award from eClinicalWorks in 2017.

His academic foundation has played a major role in shaping his career. After earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Mumbai University in 2015, he moved to the United States to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Arlington. Specializing in artificial intelligence and Big Data, he was exposed to new technologies, global perspectives, and mentors who broadened his thinking — experiences he sought intentionally when choosing to study abroad.

A guiding philosophy in Mr. Dharman's life is the pursuit of constant improvement, a mindset inspired by figures such as Tom Brady, whose relentless work ethic deeply resonated with him. He credits much of his own growth to mentors who encouraged him to embrace challenges, take risks, and believe in his ability to adapt.

One of the greatest risks he took was leaving India for graduate school, a decision that required a significant bank loan at a time when his family faced financial uncertainty. Rather than discouraging him, it strengthened his determination to succeed.

Despite living and working abroad, Mr. Dharman remains connected to his roots. He has volunteered as a mathematics and physics teacher for underprivileged children in India, a way of giving back to the community that shaped him. Raised in Mumbai by a teacher mother and a small business–owner father, he learned early the values of resilience, humility, and resourcefulness — traits that continue to guide him in his international career.

Outside of work, he brings the same curiosity to his personal interests. He enjoys collecting stamps and coins, exploring antique markets, painting portraits and landscapes, hiking, and traveling.

Looking ahead, Mr. Dharman plans to continue deepening his cybersecurity expertise by pursuing the CISSP certification — a globally respected credential — while expanding his understanding of emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing.
