LOS ANGELES, CA, December 11, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Raquel R. Ramsey has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Ramsey has distinguished herself through a career spanning more than five decades, marked by her unwavering commitment to education, storytelling and the preservation of military and family legacies. Since 2022, she has served as executive producer for "Never Surrender: The Ed Ramsey Story," a documentary that chronicles the remarkable life and service of her late husband, Colonel Edwin Ramsey. In this capacity, Ms. Ramsey has been instrumental in writing memoirs and historical accounts, coordinating with museums and organizations for film screenings, supporting and networking within military and heritage societies, contributing to charitable and veterans' organizations, mentoring others through her published works and experiences, and reviewing biographical content for publication. Her work as an executive producer is a testament to her dedication to preserving history and inspiring future generations.

Before her current role in film production and authorship, Ms. Ramsey dedicated more than two decades to Beverly Hills High School as an English as a Second Language coordinator and administrator from 1992 to 2013. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in developing curriculum, supporting students from diverse backgrounds, and fostering an inclusive educational environment. Her leadership extended beyond the classroom as she mentored faculty members and contributed to the school's academic excellence.

Ms. Ramsey's professional journey began in education after earning a Bachelor of Science in Education with concentrations in journalism, foreign service secondary education, and teaching from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila in 1972. Her academic foundation was further strengthened by obtaining secondary teaching credentials and an administrative credential from the Beverly Hills Unified School District. These qualifications enabled her to teach literature, poetry, and writing while coaching students in speech and debate, areas in which she has also competed personally.

Her lifelong dedication to education and legacy is exemplified by her acclaimed memoir, "Reflections," and by her impactful role as both executive producer and author. Among her most notable achievements is the preservation of her family's military history through films and literature, including the compelling biography "Taking Flight: The Nadine Ramsey Story." These works not only document courageous stories but also serve as enduring tributes to the values instilled by her family—particularly the Ramirez family—and honor promises made to loved ones.

Ms. Ramsey's influence extends into numerous professional associations. She is an active member of the Military Order of the World Wars, the American Legion, the Philippine Scouts Heritage Society, the United States Cavalry Association, and the Oklahoma Military Academy. Through these affiliations, she continues to support military heritage initiatives while fostering connections within the broader veteran community.

Her contributions have been recognized with honors such as the Hero Award from Downtown Los Angeles, reflecting both her civic engagement and impact on the community.

Throughout her life, Ms. Ramsey has drawn inspiration from her family's legacy, her grandfather notably founded the first law school in the Philippines, and from a strong network of medical professionals and lifelong friends who supported her during personal challenges. This foundation has fueled her passion for teaching, writing and mentoring others.

Born in Manila, Ms. Ramsey enjoys writing, teaching literature, coaching speech and debate teams, competing in speech competitions and engaging with poetry. Looking ahead, she intends to continue honoring her faith and family legacy by inspiring others through storytelling and sharing her experiences to impact lives positively.
