A board-certified general surgeon with over 30 years of experience, Dr. Christian will oversee clinical leadership across the organization's 14 locations, reinforcing AmeriWell's commitment to high-quality, integrated patient care.

Dr. Christian brings a diverse background spanning general surgery, trauma rehabilitation, and holistic wellness to the role. He will guide AmeriWell's multidisciplinary teams as the organization expands its comprehensive treatment plans, with a specialized focus on personal injury, auto accidents, and work-related injuries.

A graduate of Howard University College of Medicine, Dr. Christian completed his general surgery residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center, where he was recognized as Surgical Intern of the Year. His clinical expertise includes general surgery, obesity treatment, and bariatric support. He gained national recognition when the Discovery Channel documented a groundbreaking 1,000-pound weight-loss case under his care. He later chronicled this experience and his faith-driven philosophy on wellness in his book, Mannafast Miracle.

He is also a committed humanitarian, having served on medical missions to the Hopi Indian Reservation and led disaster relief efforts in New Orleans post-Katrina and in Dominica following Hurricane Maria.
