Mr. Kersey has established himself in the field of financial analytics within the logistics trucking industry, a distinction earned through more than 5 years of dedicated professional experience. Since 2023, he has served as a financial analytics manager at U.S. Xpress Inc. in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he analyzes financial performance and data, identifies areas for organizational improvement and benchmarks performance metrics. He is proficient in utilizing advanced tools such as Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and leverages SQL for comprehensive data analysis. His focus on efficiencies within the maintenance division includes investigating breakdowns on the road and identifying patterns of frequent failures, contributing to operational excellence.
In addition to his primary role, since 2020, he has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Lee University, sharing his expertise with students while remaining active in the business community.
Prior to his current roles, Mr. Kersey held several positions at Covenant Transport Services and its affiliate, Covenant Solutions, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. As a senior financial analyst and senior finance and analytics analyst, he played a pivotal role in financial planning and analytics initiatives that supported business growth.
Mr. Kersey's tenure at Covenant Solutions began in 2018 as a pricing and analytics analyst before advancing to a finance and analytics analyst in 2019.
