Ms. Williams has established a distinguished career in association management, currently serving as the chief executive officer of the Emergency Medicine Residents' Association since 2022. Her responsibilities include membership management and marketing, finance, operations, and day-to-day association managment.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Williams was the membership director at the International News Media Association from 2012 to 2022. During this time, she also worked as a grant writer and marketing consultant for Ardent Spirit from 2020 to 2021. Her earlier career includes serving as the director of marketing for the International Association of Venue Managers from 2010 to 2012 and as a membership marketing manager at the American College of Emergency Physicians from 2004 to 2010. Notably, she was the communications manager at the American Association for Respiratory Care from 1999 to 2004, where she significantly influenced public awareness about respiratory care.

Ms. Williams worked in public relations at Oklahoma Children's Hospital before moving to Dallas, where she became an assistant editor for the peer-reviewed journal, Respiratory Care, the scientific publication of the American Association for Respiratory Care from 1995 to 1998. She started her professional journey as an administrative assistant to the fire chief of the Guthrie, Oklahoma, fire department.

Academically, Ms. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Central Oklahoma, earned in 1991. Her educational background laid a strong foundation for her career in communications and public relations. She has further enhanced her professional credentials with the Certified Association Executive from American Society of Association Executives in 2008. She holds an association digital marketing certificate from Ricochet in 2021. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved with the Dallas Fort Worth Association Executives, holding various leadership positions including president from 2018 to 2019.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Williams has made significant contributions through civic associations and projects. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she secured a $300,000 grant for LVTRise in Fort Worth, aiding underserved communities by hiring staff and ensuring security for a new building. Her efforts have been recognized with awards such as the President's Award and theWayne James Award from the Dallas Fort Worth Association Executives. In addition, she serves on the board of directors for Congo Restoration, which supports women and children in the Democratic Republic of Congo by restoring hope and dignity through education. The Congo restoration supports a sewing school and primary school for girls.

Ms. Williams attributes her success to changing her perspective and consistently focusing on the future to achieve greater accomplishments. She has transformed her success into the confidence necessary for her current job, which, in turn, has further boosted her confidence.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Williams is committed to lifelong learning and reading books about and by Jane Austen. Looking ahead, she plans to focus more on creative writing and giving back to her community by sharing her family's stories through creative projects like publishing a cookbook. With these endeavors, she aims to leave a legacy that reflects her character and values.
