Before founding Luminina Global Consulting, Dr. Brown was Chief Operations Officer at Trilogy. During her tenure in 2024 and 2025, she led operational strategies that leveraged AI to support student learning and development. Beginning in 2022, Dr. Brown served as Vice President of Operations at Axiom Engineering. In this role, she oversaw the company's structural engineering services and implemented business process improvements that enhanced efficiency across the organization.

Dr. Brown also served 23 years in various positions at DATAMARK, Inc., her last being the Vice President of Sales and Marketing from 2021 to 2022, where she was responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence through strategic client engagement. Prior to that, beginning in 2017, she served as Vice President of Client Solutions, delivering tailored solutions to address complex client needs.

Her earlier roles at DATAMARK, Inc. included Director of Engineering (spanning both software engineering and business engineering) from 2012 to 2017, Director of Project Management from 2009 to 2012, Project Manager from 2005 to 2009, and Software Developer from 2000 to 2005. Throughout these positions, Dr. Brown consistently established and evolved new departments and introduced innovative practices that contributed significantly to the company's growth trajectory.

Dr. Brown's academic background played a pivotal role in her professional achievements. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Stanford University, equipping her with a strong foundation in technology that underpins her innovative approach. She then completed a Master of Science in Executive Leadership at the University of San Diego in 2021, further honing her extensive leadership capabilities. Dr. Brown earned a Doctor of Business Administration from Pepperdine University in 2025, where she researched and created new knowledge related to strategies for achieving optimal career growth, as well as obtained advanced knowledge in organizational leadership and strategic management.

In addition to her academic credentials, Dr. Brown has obtained several certifications that have contributed to her expertise including a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from ASQ - World Headquarters, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), and a certification in culinary management from The Art Institute of California.

Dr. Brown attributes much of her success to the support of her loving family, particularly her mother, who was an educator along the border between El Paso, TX and Juarez, MX. Her mother's dedication to teaching in underserved communities and commitment to staying at the forefront of educational innovation served as a powerful influence throughout Dr. Brown's upbringing.
