GRASS VALLEY, CA, December 16, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kimberly Padilla has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Demonstrating resilience and innovation throughout her career, Ms. Padilla has carved a remarkable path in the corporate world. Currently serving as the global head of knowledge management at Altman Solon in San Francisco, California, which provides consulting services throughout the telecommunications, media and technology realms, she is responsible for establishing the company's knowledge management program and department. Her role involves overseeing managers across the Americas, Europe and Asia, leveraging artificial intelligence to maximize potential within knowledge management and focusing on overall company growth. Renowned for her high-level strategic thinking and collaboration with partners, she has been pivotal in driving change management within the organization.

Prior to joining Altman Solon, Ms. Padilla spent nearly 20 years at Bain & Company as a knowledge manager, team leader and specialist for the company's private equity practice from 2003 to 2022. As there were no specific practice areas when she initially joined, she played a pivotal role in formalizing the private equity division, which eventually accounted for 40% of the company's revenue. Her efforts in digitizing and organizing the firm's extensive knowledge into a digital library revolutionized its workflows and improved efficiency through automation.

Ms. Padilla began her journey with Bain & Company in 2003 as a knowledge specialist in the private equity practice. Over the years, she advanced to a senior role and later became a knowledge team leader in Madrid, Spain. Her dedication to developing the private equity practice knowledge management group was one of her most significant achievements during this period. She successfully changed perceptions about the value of organized knowledge and blazed an important trail for women in the workplace, working remotely after giving birth to her son in 2007.

Though she has led a remarkably successful career in knowledge management, Ms. Padilla originally pursued a master's degree specializing in psychotic disorders and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from San Diego State University in 1995. While working at a day treatment outpatient facility for individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia, she realized that this was not her desired career path. A recruiter introduced her to Bain & Company, where she found a healthier work environment that offered greater stability and benefits.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Padilla is deeply committed to civic engagement and philanthropy. She is a donor to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and supports No One Left Behind, which evacuates and resettles wartime allies who have served in areas such as Afghanistan and Iraq. Additionally, she volunteers as a teacher for first and second graders at a local school and participates in Grad Night activities, giving back to her community through numerous platforms.

In her personal life, Ms. Padilla shares a passion for flamenco dance with her husband, which led them to live in Spain for some time. A proud mother of two children, she also enjoys reading, gardening and cooking in her spare time. Looking back on her professional and personal success to date, she is immensely grateful to her faith as well as the unwavering support of her family.

In the coming years, Ms. Padilla aims to establish a world-class knowledge management program at Altman Solon while exploring opportunities in consulting to share her expertise with other companies. She is also interested in collaborating with nonprofit organizations like The Nature Conservancy or working in education to support underprivileged children, reflecting her commitment to making a positive impact on society through all she does.
