As the chief executive officer of Teachers in Transition since 2023, she oversees all business operations, provides individualized coaching to teachers, hosts and produces a weekly podcast, develops and delivers career transition courses, and, among other tasks, consults with school districts on teacher retention.

Under Ms. Jackson's leadership, Teachers in Transition has become a comprehensive program that includes coaching, courses and a highly successful podcast with over 275 episodes. Through these efforts, she has empowered countless teachers to find fulfilling careers outside the classroom. She has gained recognition as a top career coach in San Antonio, Texas, and as one of the top coaches for teachers nationally. Ms. Jackson is particularly proud of the personal stories of educators she has helped, especially those who have overcome burnout and regained confidence to pursue new opportunities.

Before her current role, Ms. Jackson served as a service delivery coordinator and training facilitator at Experis, a ManpowerGroup company, from 2021 to 2023. In this capacity, she focused on solutions delivery and training facilitation, gaining valuable experience in workforce transitions and hiring practices that would later inform her work supporting educators moving into new careers.

From 1996 to 2021, Ms. Jackson was a teachers with multiple districts in Texas and Alaska including: Alvin Independent School District, Killeen Independent School District, Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Fairbanks Northstar Borough School District, Anchorage School District, and San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District. Her responsibilities included classroom instruction and mentoring colleagues through instructional support roles. She also contributed to curriculum development and teacher training initiatives.
Between 2018 and 2020, Ms. Jackson worked as a trainer and coach with Healthier Journey LLC in Anchorage, Alaska. In this position, she provided wellness coaching and professional development to help individuals achieve personal growth and resilience.

Ms. Jackson's academic journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She also holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Concordia University - Portland, completed in 2015, and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Quantic School of Business and Technology in 2025. In addition to her degrees, Ms. Jackson is certified as a notary public and serves her community as a mobile notary.

Throughout her career, Ms. Jackson has been an active member of Alpha Delta Kappa and Sigma Alpha Iota, reflecting her commitment to professional development. Her decision to enter the field was shaped by more than two decades spent teaching, a period that gave her firsthand knowledge of the pressures educators face daily. Seeking new challenges after 25 years in the classroom, she transitioned into private-sector roles focused on service delivery before ultimately purchasing Teachers in Transition from its founder, after being a client herself. This move allowed Ms. Jackson to make a direct impact on the lives of transitioning teachers nationwide.

Looking ahead, Ms. Jackson intends to expand her professional impact by increasing speaking engagements and traveling nationwide to address teacher retention issues within school districts. She plans to grow Teachers in Transition by adding new staff members and developing private peer-support forums for teachers, while continuing research on teacher burnout as part of broader consulting efforts to improve workplace conditions for educators across the country.
