Before joining Midland Resource Recovery, Mr. Wiewiorowski served as the market manager at Arkema from 2023 to 2025. During his tenure, he managed a business unit, setting business strategy and ensuring alignment between corporate functions to execute on business plans. He was accountable for the business unit profitability and drove margins through implementation of supply chain management solutions and introducing innovative practices that enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction.
From 2021 to 2023, Mr. Wiewiorowski contributed to ChampionX in strategy and innovation. He supported the development and implementation of the regional strategy, interpreting sector themes and aligning implementation to support customer productivity and corporate fiscal health. He also led the development of products and processes for offshore operations in the Gulf of Mexico. This included focusing on streamlining workflows and improving collaboration between research, supply chain, engineering and operations teams. This period marked a significant shift in his career, as he prioritized developing practical solutions that bridged the gap between technical and operational functions.
Between 2018 and 2020, Mr. Wiewiorowski served as an account manager at ChampionX, managing key client relationships and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs. His earlier experience at ChampionX included serving as a district representative from 2016 to 2018, where he focused on operational functions and gained hands-on experience in chemical application and production optimization while working on floating production assets in the Gulf of Mexico.
A notable highlight early in his career occurred when Mr. Wiewiorowski led a digitization effort of the operations team who supported multiple customer assets working alongside various technical and education backgrounds. As a representative working offshore shifts, he unified reporting, documentation, and resources into a single platform, significantly improving communication and efficiency. This project marked his initial foray into innovation and set the foundation for his ongoing commitment to developing solutions that streamline operations.
In 2015, Mr. Wiewiorowski worked as a reservoir engineering intern at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, gaining valuable exposure to reservoir management practices. His academic journey also included serving as a teaching assistant at Lehigh University in 2010, where he supported faculty in delivering chemical engineering coursework. Earlier roles included a 2009 process engineering internship at CH2M HILL and an administrative assistant role at DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 2008.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wiewiorowski has remained actively involved in industry organizations. Today he is a program committee vice chair of the Appalachian Gas Measurement Short Course (AGMSC) and a program committee member of the American School of Gas Measurement Technology (ASGMT), both institutions focused on ensuring the technical excellence of future generations of gas utility technicians. In the past, he has served as president of the Texas A&M Chapter of Pi Epsilon Tau, Petroleum Engineering Honor Society, demonstrating leadership within the academic community. Additionally, he has served as the board chair of public relations committees and as the Society of Petroleum Engineers' director of outreach. His commitment to professional development extends to his role as arrangements chair for NAWC Edmonton with the National Association of Corrosion Engineers.
Mr. Wiewiorowski's educational background includes a Master of Science in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, earned in 2016. He completed his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering at Lehigh University in Bethlehem in 2010, after attending the Anglo-American School of Moscow through 2006. His academic achievements were complemented by his experience as a Division I athlete on Lehigh University's swim team.
He attributes much of his success to guidance from knowledgeable mentors throughout his life. Both parents were chemical engineers, and they encouraged him to gain practical experience before pursuing leadership roles. Lessons from his grandfather, a chemist who emphasized humility and diligence, further shaped Mr. Wiewiorowski's approach to problem-solving and leadership.
Born in Lafayette, Mr. Wiewiorowski enjoys exercising, participating in triathlons, running, biking, swimming and spending time with family outside of work. Looking ahead, he envisions Midland Resource Recovery becoming synonymous with technical excellence, safety and support throughout North America's gas odorization sector.
