Since 2019, he has served as the owner and head coach of ParaBellum Martial Arts and Strength, where he is responsible for teaching Taekwondo, overseeing strength and conditioning classes, instructing boxing and Muay Thai, managing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, and training and developing instructors. Mr. Angel is also tasked with organizing class schedules and ensuring a safe training environment for students, providing daily support and guidance throughout their martial arts journeys. Under his leadership, the academy has become a respected institution for martial arts education in Waynesville, Missouri.

Before his present position, Mr. Angel was the owner and head coach at Combate Xtreme MMA Academy in Waynesville from 2016 to 2019. During this period, he offered comprehensive mixed martial arts instruction and fostered a supportive community for athletes of all skill levels. Mr. Angel's commitment to student development and safety was evident in the academy's growth and reputation.

Mr. Angel's earlier tenure included service as a military police officer in the U.S. Army between 1990 and 2011. Over more than two decades, he demonstrated exemplary leadership and discipline while upholding the highest standards of service.

Mr. Angel's educational background includes extensive college coursework. Although he did not complete a degree program, he prioritized his family's future by transferring his GI Bill benefits to his children, enabling them to pursue their own academic and professional goals.

Becoming passionate about martial arts at age 14, Mr. Angel was inspired by popular culture and supported by his mother's encouragement. At 16, he trained with elite athletes at the Korean College of Physical Education through the USA Development program in Korea, an experience that profoundly shaped his coaching philosophy. Mr. Angel pursuit of excellence led him to join the U.S. Army to continue his training and competition at a high level.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Angel is committed to civic endeavors. Most notably, he is a member of Prince Hall Freemasonry and has recently been elevated to the 32nd degree in the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite. Mr. Angel is also recognized by the Governor of Kentucky as a Kentucky Colonel.

Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Angel has achieved significant milestones. He is recognized as an expert in Taekwondo and holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His accomplishments have been acknowledged by the American Martial Arts Foundation through inclusion in the prestigious Who's Who in Martial Arts. Meanwhile, Mr. Angel's military tenure included recognition as an All-Army and Armed Forces Taekwondo athlete. He also competed as an All-Army rugby player after retiring from competitive fighting, further showcasing his versatility as a multi-sport athlete. Moreover, Mr. Angel was recognized with multiple Army Commendation Medals and Meritorious Service Medals from the U.S. Army for his exemplary service.

Mr. Angel attributes his achievements to unwavering family support, steadfast faith, and lessons learned throughout his military and martial arts careers. Eager for the future, he is dedicated to building a robust Taekwondo competition team at his gym with aspirations for athletes to reach Team USA trials.
