BabyQuip Wins Judges' Choice Award; CureValue Earns SuperCrowd Award at Superpowers for Good Live Pitch
Press Release December 17, 2025
Judges and audience honor standout impact companies during the televised Superpowers for Good Live Pitch

STOCKTON, CA, December 17, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Super Crowd, Inc., a public benefit corporation, announced the winners of its quarterly Superpowers for Good Live Pitch, a televised and livestreamed showcase that connects impact-driven founders with everyday investors and a panel of professional investment judges.

At the event, BabyQuip, led by founder and CEO Fran Maier, received the Judges' Choice Award, selected by the panel of professional investors. CureValue, led by founder and CEO Farooq Zama, received the SuperCrowd Award, determined by a live audience vote.

How the winners were selected

The Judges' Choice Award is determined by the event's investor-judge panel—Sherwood "Woodie" Neiss (Crowdfund Capital Advisors), Paul Lovejoy (Stakeholder Enterprise), and Teddy Lyons (KingsCrowd)—based on each company's pitch, business fundamentals, traction, and the credibility of its strategy for scaling impact alongside financial performance.

Fran Maier, Founder & CEO of BabyQuip, said: "We're honored to be named the Judges' Choice Award winner. This recognition from seasoned investors is meaningful, and we're grateful for the opportunity to share how BabyQuip is making travel easier for families everywhere."
The SuperCrowd Award is chosen by the viewing audience through a real-time vote conducted at the conclusion of the pitches, following interactive Q&A participation throughout the show.

Farooq Zama, Founder & CEO of CureValue, said: "Winning the SuperCrowd Award signals that healthcare affordability is no longer an abstract policy issue but a lived reality for millions of Americans. Recognition from the audience reinforces the need for solutions that address cost, access, and trust in meaningful ways."

"All four companies that took the stage earned their place," said Devin Thorpe, host of Superpowers for Good. "They don't pay a fee to apply or to pitch. Our judges select presenters on a competitive basis, and that means every founder you saw was vetted. Congratulations to BabyQuip and CureValue—both are building meaningful solutions with serious potential. I'm grateful to our judges, our audience, and every founder who shared their vision so openly."

In addition to the award winners, two other companies delivered standout pitches:
- Jetoptera, led by Andrei Evulet, presenting its approach to next-generation aviation propulsion and aircraft development.
- Pump For Joy, led by Erin Martin, showcasing its mission to improve the pumping experience for nursing mothers with sustainability-minded product innovation.

"Even when there's only room for two awards, there's a lot to celebrate," Thorpe added. "Jetoptera and Pump For Joy brought strong ideas, strong leadership, and compelling reasons for investors to take a closer look."

Following the televised livestream, Superpowers for Good hosted a private investor Zoom session—not recorded and limited to human participants—where investors met directly with the founders for deeper Q&A. The session was attended by dozens of investors, reflecting growing interest in transparent, founder-led conversations that go beyond what can be covered in a public program.
