Under his leadership, EACOE and BACOE have become known for a methodical, engineering-based approach to enterprise and business understanding and strategy, leading to technology design that emphasizes rigorous planning prior to implementation. The organization has delivered education, workshops, and mentoring to major corporations, including General Motors, Ford Motor Company, The Walt Disney Company, American Express, and Walmart Inc., while helping to certify professionals and translate complex technological concepts into actionable guidance for non-technical audiences.

Mr. Holcman has also served as managing director and chief business architect of the Business Architecture Center Of Excellence (BACOE). In this capacity, he has advanced Business Architecture methodologies and supported the professional development of practitioners worldwide. EACOE and BACOE operate as subsidiaries of Pinnacle Business Group Inc., founded by Mr. Holcman in 1972, through which he guided organizations in developing comprehensive architectural strategies and executing complex projects. Earlier in his career, Mr. Holcman served as a manager at Ford Motor Company. During this period, he contributed to research in automotive safety by helping to simulate human trauma in crash scenarios, work that led him to develop computer programs for crash modeling. This experience underscored the need for greater engineering discipline in computer systems development and ultimately informed his lifelong commitment to applying rigorous, structured methodologies to information systems.

Mr. Holcman holds a Bachelor of Science in biomedical/medical engineering and a Master of Science in electrical and electronics engineering from Wayne State University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. In recognition of his achievements at Wayne State University, he received the Robert G. Wingerter Award. He also holds several professional credentials, including Business Architect Fellow from the Business Architecture Center Of Excellence and Enterprise Architect Fellow from the Enterprise Architecture Center Of Excellence.

Active in the broader professional community, Mr. Holcman is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a fellow of the Society of Automotive Engineers. He also co-developed an accelerated analysis methodology, Rapid Analysis, and as a side accomplishment, secured a patent for an apparatus that adds an edible filling to a bagel at the point of sale.
