She has led HR and facilities teams through acquisitions, integrations, and rapid expansion at companies including Pluto TV, Paramount/Viacom, Constantin Film, Insomniac Events, STX Entertainment, Pabst Brewing Company, Bug Music, and others. In addition to her consulting work, Ms. Abdi serves as chief operating officer of A Minds Pursuit, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on mental health and wellness—particularly men's mental health. The nonprofit is dedicated to changing the stigma around talking about mental health, especially for men who have been taught to stay silent about stress, anxiety, and emotional strain.
