In 2024, Ms. Stinson held the position of vice president, people, culture, health, safety, environment, and technical services at FPI Fireplace Products International Ltd. She also served as vice president, people, culture, health, safety and environment from 2023 to 2024 within the same organization. Her progression within Regency reflects her belief in the importance of internal advancement and her dedication to creating opportunities for women in leadership.
From 2022 to 2023, Ms. Stinson contributed her expertise as a senior consultant for BP p.l.c., focusing on people and culture as well as production and operations refining. Her work during this period centered on supporting organizations through growth and transition phases.
Ms. Stinson's tenure at Conifex Timber Inc. spanned 2017 to 2022, during which she advanced from director of human resources to director of people and safety, and was promoted to vice president and general manager of corporate services from 2020 to 2022. During her five years with Conifex Timber Inc., she received multiple promotions in recognition of her leadership capabilities. Notably, she partnered with Canadian safety regulators on the "Recover at Work" program, significantly improving safety risk outcomes, a milestone she regards as a major professional achievement.
Her earlier experience includes serving as regional human resources manager at Tolko Industries Ltd. from 2012 to 2017. At Finning International Inc., she progressed from safety specialist in 2007 to human resources business partner from 2008 to 2010 and then team lead for human resources services until 2012. Ms. Stinson began her career in workplace health and safety at Interior Health in 1996 and remained there until 2007, serving as a human resources officer and workplace health and safety specialist.
Throughout her career, Ms. Stinson has demonstrated a commitment to professional development and industry engagement. She has been an active member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of British Columbia & Yukon since 2012.
Ms. Stinson's academic background includes a Master of Arts in multi/interdisciplinary studies with a focus on work, organization and leadership from Athabasca University. She also holds a Bachelor of Human Resources and Labour Relations from Athabasca University, a certificate in human resources management and services from the University of Alberta and a certificate in occupational health and safety from Keyano College.

Her entry into the field began with a foundation in health care after earning certification as a long-term care aide. Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Stinson has contributed to civic life as the Kinsmen secretary from 1985 to 2000.
Born in Dauphin, Manitoba Ms. Stinson is dedicated to both her family life and professional pursuits. She is part of a blended family with three adult children and two stepchildren.
