VANCOUVER, CANADA and ZUG, SWITZERLAND, January 03, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tenor Sports today announced that they have acquired the exclusive Canadian media rights to the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) in an agreement brokered by Infront, the SPFL's international media rights partner. The deal will bring comprehensive live and on‑demand coverage of Scotland's top leagues to fans across Canada starting January 3rd, 2026 with one of football's classic derby matches, Rangers vs Celtic.

The SPFL is home for Canadian National team defender Alistair Johnston (Celtic) and Canadian international Derek Cornelius is currently on loan at Rangers from Marseille.

Under the agreement, Tenor Sports will showcase live and delayed matches and highlights from the Scottish Premiership, as well as selected fixtures from the SPFL's other professional competitions. The partnership is designed to grow the SPFL's footprint in North America and to provide Canadian supporters with a dedicated home for Scottish football action. Through a streaming platform provided by StreamEAI, Tenor Sports plans to stream 41 matches remaining in the 2025/26 season, with full details on match schedules and subscription options available on the website. For the 2026/27 season a minimum of 96 matches will be streamed.
