He founded the firm in 1987. While managing Evan Hagen and Company, Mr. Evans also served as the Chief Executive of Communications Corporation of America, a $60 million distressed public telecommunications firm, from 1987 to 1989. He worked in the same capacity at RCA Business Telephone Systems, a distressed $150 million revenue business, between 1989 and 1991. Additionally, Mr. Evans launched Evans Hagen and Company in 1987, as the senior managing director, where he continues to provide strategic financial guidance to clients.

Mr. Evans's leadership at Evans Hagen is complemented by his earlier executive roles, including his role on Wall Street as SVP of The Hallwood Group Inc. raising capital for publicly-owned distressed companies in the U.S. and Europe and at Butcher and Singer, a regional investment bank, as a senior vice president of its Oil & Gas division, dating back to 1977, and as a consultant at the public accounting firm Laventhol and Horwath where he provided advisory services from 1974 to 1977.

In addition to his business career, Mr. Evans is a former professional tennis player with a career spanning 60 years. He worked for more than five years for Rod Laver, one of the sport's most renowned figures, managing his tennis facility in Los Angeles. This experience not only allowed him to work for his hero but also to develop a lasting friendship with him.

Mr. Evans's academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and English from Dickinson College, completed in 1968, and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University, earned in 1988.

In recognition of his leadership abilities, Mr. Evans received several Leadership Awards and positions of Director and Chairman of the Board for more than six companies. He attributes much of his success to the mentorship of a prominent Wall Street banker who emphasized perseverance as essential in investment banking.
