Additionally, he balanced weekend employment at Max and Erma's Restaurants for about 12 hours per week and managed the demands of student teaching and preparing materials for four different courses simultaneously. From 2023 to 2024, Mr. Yasofsky worked as a genetic counseling assistant at UPMC, supporting clinical operations and contributing to patient care initiatives. He previously held the same position at GeneDx from 2022 to 2023, further developing his knowledge in genetics and healthcare services.

From 2021 to 2022, Mr. Yasofsky served as a client services manager at Harmony Home Care, overseeing client relations and ensuring high-quality service delivery. His leadership abilities were also evident during his tenure as the graduate resident director at Chatham University in 2021, where he managed residential life programs and mentored students.

Between 2019 and 2021, Mr. Yasofsky served as a transport monitor technician with Allegheny Health Network, contributing to patient safety and logistical support within the healthcare system. Earlier in his career, from 2015 to 2020, he gained customer service experience as a host, carry-out staff member, and server at Max and Erma's Restaurants. He also worked as a brand representative for Hollister Co. from 2017 to 2018.

Mr. Yasofsky's academic background has been instrumental in shaping his professional journey. He earned a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in biology education from the University of Pittsburgh School of Education in 2025. He previously graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology/biological sciences from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg in 2021. Born in Monroeville, Mr. Yasofsky enjoys reading, spending time with friends and participating in theater activities outside of his professional responsibilities. He is also devoted to his two cats, Simba and Scarly, whose names are inspired by The Lion King.
