KANSAS CITY, KS, January 08, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stephanie Castaneda has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Castaneda currently serves as owner of Lucky 13 Rock and Commercial Construction, LLC, a role she has held since 2024. In this capacity, she operates businesses dedicated to environmental restoration and manages business certifications to include a permit to surface mine out of a tributary while actively networking with manufacturers and vendors. Ms. Castaneda is responsible for building brand presence, coordinating product development and researching sustainable products and innovative technologies. Her work includes participating in trade shows, collaborating with mentors and student teams, developing nonprofit initiatives and advocating for Native American business and community interests. Through these efforts, she has built businesses that benefit both her family and the broader community by emphasizing sustainability, indigenous rights and the empowerment of underserved populations. Among her most notable achievements is raising her children to become successful, independent professionals: Her daughter is a surgical resident, her son a founding member of Good Good Golf, and her youngest is pursuing a degree at a four-year university.

Additionally, Ms. Castaneda has served as general manager of GGS Alpaca Farm LLC since 2020. In this position, she oversees daily operations, implements sustainable agricultural practices and fosters community engagement through educational outreach. Her leadership at the farm reflects her commitment to environmental stewardship and to promoting sustainable entrepreneurship.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Castaneda was a social worker with the Kansas Department for Children and Family from 1993 to 1996. During this period, she provided critical support services to families and children in need, laying the groundwork for her lifelong dedication to community-based business development and advocacy for underserved populations.

Ms. Castaneda is recognized as an expert in sustainable entrepreneurship and community-based business development. She is an active member of the DeSoto Chamber of Commerce and the Kansas City Cherokee Community, where she contributes her expertise to regional economic growth and community advancement.

Her academic background includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Kansas in 1991. This educational foundation has been instrumental in shaping her approach to business leadership, social advocacy and community engagement. Ms. Castaneda attributes her success to her commitment to family, an upbringing surrounded by entrepreneurial and community-minded relatives and a passion for supporting others, particularly those in underserved and Native American communities. She credits her background in social work, ongoing self-education and resilience as a breast cancer survivor as key influences that have enabled her to make a meaningful impact through both business ventures and community projects.

Born in Kansas City, Ms. Castaneda is the mother of Dr. Glynis Castaneda, Stephen Lucilo Castaneda II and Giancarlo Castaneda. She enjoys traveling, sightseeing, riding bikes, reading, researching, visiting with family, engaging with the community, practicing self-care, spending time with alpacas and raising bees.

Looking ahead, Ms. Castaneda plans to create a sustainable community in Wyandotte County featuring advanced healthcare and education systems—including a possible branch of the Mayo Clinic- and a healing center focused on natural medical methodologies; seeking to bring a research hospital to the middle of the Midwest. She aims to achieve food sovereignty for Native populations, to continue developing environmentally responsible businesses, and to mentor others, especially youth and underserved families, in entrepreneurship and community leadership.
