Her commitment was especially evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she was present every day and frequently on call.

Ms. Digerolamo simultaneously worked for several other medical facilities while employed at the medical center. She served as a family nurse practitioner at EG Healthcare Inc. from 2016 to 2021, providing comprehensive primary care to families. Between 2014 and 2016, Ms. Digerolamo contributed her expertise as a nurse practitioner to Wagdy Girgis, MD, managing patient care in a specialized medical practice. She also excelled as a cardiology nurse practitioner at Northwell Health from 2012 to 2017, was a nurse practitioner at Heartland Medical and Diagnostic Center between 2011 and 2012, and a nurse practitioner at Michael Kogel and Associates from 2010 to 2011.

Ms. Digerolamo's academic background has been instrumental in shaping her career trajectory. She earned a bachelor's degree in accounting at Pace University in New York City and a Master of Science in nursing from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York, in 2010. After several years working as a foreign exchange accountant, Ms. Digerolamo transitioned into nursing after starting a family and seeking greater flexibility.
