Dr. Samayoa has established herself as an expert in clinical management and research and currently serves as General Clinical Manager at Hospital del Valle in Honduras, a role she has held since 2025. In this capacity, she oversees pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology operations; advises the hospital's research department; and drives sustained growth across research, laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy services. Her leadership is distinguished by a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the advancement of real-world, practice-informed research initiatives. Dr. Samayoa is particularly recognized for her ability to translate clinical evidence into actionable insights that support data-driven clinical and operational decision-making.

Previously, Dr. Samayoa served as Clinical Manager at Hospital del Valle from 2024 to 2025. During this time, she played a pivotal role in optimizing clinical workflows, enhancing patient outcomes, and fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, further strengthening the institution's standards of care.

Since 2024, Dr. Samayoa has also served as an Advisor to the Research Department at Universidad Católica de Honduras "Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz." In this role, she mentors emerging researchers and supports academic initiatives. She co-created the university's Research Certificate program and contributed to the launch of the institutional academic journal, where she currently serves as a member of the editorial staff.

From 2023 to 2024, Dr. Samayoa worked as a Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Project Manager at Columbia Data Analytics, LLC, where she managed complex research projects and delivered analytical insights that informed health policy and clinical practice for clients across the healthcare sector.

In 2023, Dr. Samayoa served as Clinical Quality Coordinator at New York Medical and Vascular Care, where she was responsible for monitoring and improving quality metrics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing best practices in patient care.

Earlier in her career, between 2020 and 2023, she worked as a Cardiovascular Coordinator and Medical Intern at New York Medical and Vascular Care, gaining extensive hands-on experience in patient assessment, care coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration—experience that laid the foundation for her subsequent leadership roles.

Additionally, from 2022 to 2023, Dr. Samayoa contributed as a Healthcare Consultant with University Research Co., LLC, advising healthcare organizations on process improvement and strategic planning initiatives.

Her academic and research involvement includes fieldwork as a Research Assistant at the CUNY School of Public Health Center for Systems & Community Design from 2021 to 2022, where she supported community-based research projects aimed at improving public health outcomes. She also served as a Clinical Research Assistant at Montefiore Health System in the Bronx, New York, from 2017 to 2021, contributing to multiple studies that advanced clinical and translational research.

Dr. Samayoa's professional experience also includes work as a Medical Supply Sales Representative with RMAdistribution from 2020 to 2021, where she developed expertise in client relations and product knowledge. In 2020, she further expanded her research experience as a Research Assistant at the CUNY School of Public Health Center for Systems & Community Design.

Her early career included internships at Dr. Hamed Behzadi's Office in New York from 2018 to 2020 and at Monroe Internal Medicine in 2016, providing her with foundational clinical training.
Dr. Samayoa's accomplishments have been recognized through several honors, most notably the Best General Poster Research Presentation Award at ISPOR Europe in 2024, which she considers her most significant professional achievement.

She earned a Master of Public Health from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy in 2022 and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad de Ciencias Médicas in 2014, providing her with a strong foundation in both clinical medicine and public health.

Dr. Samayoa holds multiple professional certifications, including Essential Pain Management from Praxhub (2025), Verified International Academic Qualifications from WES (2021), Basic Life Support from the American National Red Cross (2019), ECFMG Certification (2018), and the Patient Blood Management Certificate from the Society for the Advancement of Blood Management (SABM) (2017). She is an active member of the American Physicians Association.

Beyond her professional work, Dr. Samayoa is committed to civic engagement and community service. She participates in a Toy Drive in Honduras and previously volunteered in fundraising activities for the National Hospital of Geriatrics and Gerontology in Costa Rica in 2013. That same year, she served as a public health speaker for the Área de Salud de Santo Domingo at Clínica Dr. Hugo Fonseca Arce and participated in housing construction projects for underserved communities in 2012.

Since 2025, Dr. Samayoa has served on the editorial staff of Regina Pacis – Sapientia Postgraduate Journal at Universidad Católica de Honduras "Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz."

Born in Mexico City and raised in Honduras, Dr. Samayoa attributes her success to the unwavering support of her family and friends, whose encouragement has fueled her commitment to service, leadership, and lifelong learning.

In her leisure time, she enjoys attending concerts, dancing, practicing Pilates, walking her dogs, and listening to audiobooks.

Looking ahead, Dr. Samayoa plans to pursue an additional master's degree while continuing her work to strengthen and structure research and medical departments in Honduras. She remains dedicated to making meaningful contributions to the global research community through scholarship, mentorship, and leadership.
