LAUREL, MS, January 12, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Amanda Campbell Cooley has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Dr. Cooley has established a distinguished career in education and community service, marked by her commitment to literacy and child development. Since August 2020, she has served as the superintendent of Unlimited Dreams Christian Learning Center, which she launched in response to the educational challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Notably, Dr. Cooley created this tuition-free institution to provide a nurturing environment for students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, focusing on small class sizes to allow for individualized instruction and foster strong reading comprehension skills.
Under Dr. Cooley's leadership, Unlimited Dreams Christian Learning Center celebrated its first graduating class last year, with nine students advancing to college and participating in organizations such as the National Beta Club and student council. The school implements the ACE curriculum and additional literacy programs, reflecting Dr. Cooley's dedication to ensuring that every child not only learns to read but also understands what they are reading.
Before founding Unlimited Dreams Christian Learning Center, Dr. Cooley spent a decade as the owner of Greater Expectations Children Learning Center. During this period, she developed an after-school program focused on foundational literacy skills, inspired by her observation that many children in public schools struggled with basic reading abilities. This initiative was instrumental in helping numerous students achieve critical educational milestones. Earlier in her career, Dr. Cooley owned Earth Angels Hospice, where she gained valuable experience in health administration and compassionate care before transitioning to education, prompted by a desire to address the academic needs of children in her community.
Dr. Cooley's professional achievements have been recognized through features such as a comprehensive profile in Professional Pulse Magazine. She attributes much of her success to the guidance of her mother, who instilled values of integrity, humility and resilience, principles that have shaped her signature approach to leadership and education. She actively participates in community service initiatives through Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority and the Order of Easter Star, and her dedication has been recognized with honors such as the Character Award and the Humanitarian Award from Junior Auxiliary. Additionally, Dr. Cooley serves others as a certified life coach, board-certified Christian counselor and a certified chaplain.
A passion for continuous learning drove Dr. Cooley to complete an associate's degree in medical office technology in 1999, after which she earned a Bachelor of Science in health promotion and education from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2003. Notably, Dr. Cooley also holds a master's degree in health administration from the University of Phoenix, awarded in 2006, and a doctorate in Christian education from Northwestern Christian University, which she finished in 2021.
In addition to her administrative and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Cooley has contributed to educational literature as a coauthor of multiple books. She cites her work in teaching young children foundational literacy skills—a passion forged during her years operating daycare centers that continues to drive her today—as her greatest accomplishment. To achieve balance, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their twin sons, who are active in football and baseball, and she engages in community service as a board member for the Mississippi Region of the American Red Cross and United Way. Looking toward the future, Dr. Cooley aims to advance her school by building new facilities that will better serve students' needs and establishing a community resource center as well as a sports travel team for local children.
