Mr. Bautista has established a distinguished and multifaceted career marked by public service, entrepreneurship and community leadership. Most recently, he has served as a police officer with the Port of Los Angeles, City of Los Angeles, for over 20 years. In this capacity, he held the role of Marine unit specialized tactical officer, specializing in antiterrorism operations and safeguarding the nation's economy from terrorist threats. His expertise extends to serving as captain of a police boat, where he demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment to public safety. Among his most notable achievements in law enforcement, he was recognized for his swift response in rescuing a pilot from a downed plane within two minutes, earning him a commendation from the City of Los Angeles.

In addition to his law enforcement career, Mr. Bautista has been deeply involved in civic leadership. In 2020 serve as planning commissioner, made a significant contribution as planning commissioner for two years, he founded a soccer program that grew from inception to include 4,000 players and successfully sent several athletes to Major League Soccer. His efforts addressed the importance of soccer within the Hispanic community and provided new opportunities for youth development.

Mr. Bautista is also committed to faith-based service, evident through his tenure as pastor at Elohim Ministries in Los Angeles. Beginning his journey with the youth ministry at age 18, he became co-pastor of a evangelical church by age 21, guiding congregants and supporting spiritual growth.

Professionally, Mr. Bautista's experience includes work with BP p.l.c., where he served as a trainer on the West Coast from 2003 to 2007 while he simultaneously managed various convenience stores. His foundational experience was as a soccer player, signed at age 15 by Club America, one of Mexico City's premier professional soccer teams. Although an injury curtailed his playing career after several surgeries on his left ankle, he redirected his passion for soccer into mentorship and coaching.

As a mentor for After-School All-Stars Los Angeles at Edison Middle School in South Central Los Angeles, Mr. Has Bautista played an instrumental role in transforming the lives of many students — some of whom went on to attend Harvard University and the University of California, Santa Barbara. His work with Arnold Schwarzenegger's After-School All-Stars program included teaching sports and video editing.

Entrepreneurially, Mr. Bautista is the founder of Electric Boot Group LLC., a western wear company that merges fashion shows with music festivals inspired by events like Coachella. He also operates several Airbnb properties across Mexico City Cabo SanLucas, Paramount and Los Angeles and runs a vehicle rental service that employs off duty & retired police officers and Navy SEALs for secure airport pickups and private tours. Additionally, he established a modeling agency dedicated to providing safe spaces for women and empowering them through professional opportunities.

Mr. Bautista's academic background includes earning a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Northridge and a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Pacific Union Institute & University. Furthermore, he holds a 100 ton captain's license from the United States Coast Guard and is certified as a licensed coach by U.S. Soccer.

Throughout his life, Mr. Bautista has credited his success to working with young people who have inspired him with their resilience and values. Many former mentees have maintained lifelong connections with him, a testament to his enduring influence as a mentor.

Civically engaged, Mr. Bautista is the founder of both Paramount Football Club and Paramount Youth Soccer Organization and serves as a mentor at the Los Angeles Athletic Club, where he encourages youth to pursue higher education through athletics. He is also affiliated with The Balboa Bay Club and has received the Medal of Merit from Chief of Police Thomas Gazsi at the Port of Los Angeles.

Mr. Bautista was born in Mexico City into a family with strong academic traditions. His mother is a nurse in Mexico City and his father was an attorney, among other distinguished family members. Today, Mr. Bautista enjoys spending time with his family, including his two children, Lauren & Lucas who both have strong career goals. In the upcoming years, he intends to dedicate himself fully to serving others through ministry and community engagement, guided by his faith and gratitude for what he describes as a second chance at life.
