Dr. Tran has built a fulfilling career in health care and most recently serves as the Integrative Health and Wellness Coach and Founder of ZenCraft, launched in 2025. In this role, she develops and leads programs centered on mindfulness, movement, nutrition, and nature, supporting individuals in cultivating self-care and resilience. ZenCraft is a wellness initiative created as a supportive community for busy individuals—including health care professionals and caregivers—who often overlook their own well-being. Her work emphasizes practical, accessible approaches to enhancing personal and professional wellness, drawing on her expertise in leadership and holistic health. Dr. Tran's mission is to empower individuals on their wellness journeys through impactful programs and partnerships that promote sustainable growth and balance.

Prior to entrepreneurship, Dr. Tran held several pharmacy leadership roles at UMass Memorial Medical Center from 2003 to 2021. During this time, she developed a clinical practice specializing in cardiology and anticoagulation, providing direct patient care for individuals with cardiovascular, thrombotic, and hematologic disorders. A notable milestone was the creation of the health system's first collaborative clinical program with a physician colleague, offering a novel service that supported patients with rare thrombotic disorders through innovative, individualized care. Throughout this work, Dr. Tran mentored residents and pharmacy students, emphasizing partnership, trust, and creative problem-solving in complex medical care. She also supported the launch of an enterprise-wide electronic health record, significantly influencing how care was delivered across the health system. Her clinical and educational experience was instrumental in advancing safety and quality by optimizing clinical workflows, ensuring accreditation readiness, and supporting regulatory compliance.

Dr. Tran also contributed to academia as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences from 2003 to 2004. In this role, she taught and mentored pharmacy students in clinical practice, bridging academic learning with real-world application. During this period, she further advanced pharmacy practice by establishing a specialty pharmacy residency program, providing immersive training for new pharmacists while collaborating with interdisciplinary health care teams.

Her academic background has been foundational to her leadership in health care. Dr. Tran earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston in 2002 and subsequently completed a postgraduate residency through the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists–accredited pharmacy practice residency program at UMass Memorial Medical Center in 2003.

In recognition of her contributions to thrombosis research and education, Dr. Tran received the North American Thrombosis Forum Traveling Fellowship for 2008–2009. Her professional certifications include board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist status from the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, with added qualification in cardiology, as well as certification as a professional in healthcare quality from the National Association for Healthcare Quality. She is also an Integrative Health and Wellness Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and is currently pursuing a life coaching certification through the Chopra Coaching Learning Program.

Beyond her professional work, Dr. Tran is deeply engaged in civic leadership and community service. She serves as Vice President of the Board of Trustees at Shrewsbury Montessori School. Additional involvement includes serving as an adult certified leader and fundraiser for Scouting America and acting as a parent ambassador for Worcester Academy.

Throughout her career at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Dr. Tran has received numerous honors for excellence in patient care, education, and quality improvement. These include Champions of Excellence Team Awards for Quality and Safety, the Pharmacy Education Award for the Inpatient Anticoagulation Consult Service, the Everyone Is a Caregiver Award, and the Best Patient Care Team Award for the Acute Myocardial Infarction Task Force. She credits a strong support system—her spouse, children, extended family, and loved ones—as integral to her success.

Born in Manila, Dr. Tran enjoys cooking and spending time with her family, including her husband, daughter, and son. Looking ahead, she envisions creating a welcoming space where community members can gather to experience connection, support, peace, and belonging—balancing serenity and energy within a natural setting. This space would offer opportunities such as yoga classes, meditation sessions, and creative workshops to promote well-being in an accessible environment. Through ZenCraft, Dr. Tran also aims to establish a nonprofit organization that partners with other nonprofit leaders and wellness thought leaders to empower those who care for others to care deeply for themselves—with clarity, connection, and renewal—so they may discover personal fulfillment within their families, workplaces, and communities. She hopes to inspire others to trust their inner wisdom and embrace the possibilities it reveals.
