BRIDGEPORT, CT, January 13, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark D. Arons, Esq., has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Arons is an established legal figure whose expertise spans a range of platforms, including personal injury, accident and injury litigation, and civil rights litigation with a focus on police excessive force. Since 2015, he has served as a partner at Miller, Rosnick, D'Amico, August & Butler. In this capacity, he handles cases involving auto accidents, falls, harmful and defective products, and medical malpractice, and he proudly leads civil rights litigation related to police misconduct. Mr. Arons's daily responsibilities also include reviewing court schedules and dockets and drafting legal briefs.

A defining achievement in Mr. Arons's career was his pivotal role in a police case that led to significant legislative changes for communities across the state. Through his advocacy in a matter involving state police dash cam and body cam evidence, it was revealed that local law enforcement agencies lacked these technologies at the time of the incident. As a direct result of his efforts, new legislation was enacted and funding allocated to ensure that more cities and municipalities now require body and dash cameras for their police departments. Additionally, Mr. Arons has addressed police groups on strategies to avoid excessive force, and he testified before a Select Committee at the United Nations in 2021 on police brutality in the United States.

Before progressing to his current role, Mr. Arons served as the director at The Reardon Law Firm from 1997 to 2000, where he advanced his skills in trial advocacy and client representation within complex litigation matters. For his many meaningful contributions, he has earned recognition from the National Association of Distinguished Counsel since 2024, and is an active member of the American Association for Justice since 1983. Mr. Arons has also maintained membership with the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the Connecticut Bar Association since 1983, and he holds board certification as a civil trial lawyer from the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and was recognized as a diplomate by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.

A passion for academic excellence drove Mr. Arons to complete a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Vanderbilt University in 1980 (cum laude, honors in psychology), after which he earned a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1983. While enrolled at Case Western, Mr. Arons proudly contributed as an editor of the Journal of International Law, demonstrating early leadership in legal scholarship.

Mr. Arons has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic engagement through service on various non-profit boards, including the board of directors for the Vanderbilt University Alumni Association from 2012 to 2016. He has also held board membership with Family Centered Services of Connecticut (formerly Coordinating Council for Children in Crisis) from 1997 to 2007, and served as the president of its board from 2000 to 2002. Notably, Mr. Arons also contributed as a board member for The Children's Center of Hamden (CT) from 1992 to 1996, and Congregation B'nai Jacob (Woodbridge, CT) between 1987 and 1992.

In honor of his many professional achievements, Mr. Arons has accepted numerous accolades, including Super Lawyers for New England and Connecticut since 2009, Lawyers of Distinction in 2024, and Top Rated Lawyer by Avvo Inc. in 2022. Mr. Arons was also included in the Top 1 percent compilation of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel in 2015, and in the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by The American Trial Lawyers Association in 2010.

Mr. Arons attributes his accomplishments to hard work, determination and dedication, qualities that continue to drive his pursuit of justice for clients and communities alike. He is also dedicated to his family as the father of one daughter. Outside his professional commitments, he enjoys playing golf, traveling and antiquing. Looking toward the future, Mr. Arons intends to take on additional cases as opportunities arise while continuing his engagement with police groups to address excessive force issues within law enforcement—a cause about which he remains deeply passionate.
