Prior to his current position, Mr. Panwar was the principal software engineer at Microsoft from 2023 to 2025, during which time he continued to refine his skills in software systems architecture and large-scale data processing. From 2021 until 2023, he served as a senior software engineer with the company, playing a key role in developing robust solutions for complex technical challenges. He began his tenure at Microsoft in 2018 when he joined as a software engineer II. Over the next three years, he contributed to several high-impact projects that enhanced efficiency and scalability.

Before joining Microsoft, Mr. Panwar was an associate senior software engineer at Cerner, which was later acquired by Oracle, between 2015 and 2018. Earlier in 2015, he worked as a software engineer at Viptela, part of Cisco Systems Inc., where he gained valuable experience in network infrastructure and security technologies.

From 2014 to 2015, Mr. Panwar served as an analyst with the USC Shoah Foundation. He began his professional journey as a software engineer at Nucleus Software Exports Ltd. in 2013, honing his skills in software development. In addition to his corporate roles, he is the co-owner of Smart Board & Beyond, further demonstrating his commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship within the technology sector.

Providing a strong foundation for Mr. Panwar's technical expertise and leadership abilities was his academic background. He earned a Bachelor of Technology in electronics and communication from the University of Rajasthan in India, followed by a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Southern California in 2015. Additionally, he has obtained multiple certifications that underscore his expertise, including in AMCAT certified data processing and certified software development from Aspiring Minds in 2014, as well as in leadership development with a focus on organizational leadership from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy in 2013.
