IRONTON, OH, January 14, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Danielle Gustin, RN, BSN, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who for a distinguished career in health care and nursing that has been marked by innovation, dedication to teaching and compassionate care. She currently serves as chief nursing officer at Village Caregiving (VCG), a mission-driven company that provides in-home care services to more than 5,500 seniors and families across 70 locations in 21 states.

As Chief Nursing Officer at VCG, Mrs. Gustin is responsible for the company's quality and safety standards of its in-home care services across all its locations. She first joined the company in 2021 as an RN at its Ashland, KY location with a focus on client assessments and compliance operations across its Kentucky offices. After six months, she joined the compliance team and developed an internal auditing system to ensure employee compliance across all states. By 2022, she was promoted to CNO, expanding VCG's clinical team from 7 to almost 70 nurses.

In 2023, she and colleague Adria Sheils together created a comprehensive training program for the company's caregivers, ensuring they are all fully trained and compliant with all safety rules and regulations and thoroughly prepared to support clients in their homes, and the caregiving team is always updated on the changing standards.

Prior to VCG, Mrs. Gustin worked as a registered nurse specializing in dialysis at Fresenius Medical Care North America where she was responsible for delivering specialized care to patients with chronic kidney disease. She began her nursing career at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W. Va.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from Grand Canyon University, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Nursing with a focus on family nurse practitioner studies, reflecting her commitment to continuous professional growth and advocacy within the field. She has received several accolades including being named a Veteran VIP Honoree by McKnight's Women of Distinction Award in 2025 and multiple patient satisfaction awards.

Mrs. Gustin holds several certifications: registered nurse (2019), licensed practical nurse and certified nursing assistant (2010). These credentials have been instrumental in advancing her career and enabling her to implement effective training programs and compliance measures.

She attributes her success to the unwavering support of her family, mentors and colleagues who have encouraged her throughout her career. Her passion for nursing was inspired by her grandfather when she was young. This pivotal moment led her to discover a deep-seated desire to help others through compassionate care. She is a devoted mom of two kids and enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, including walking, running, supporting her children's sports and visiting national parks. Her dedication to service extends into the community as she is an active volunteer with local churches and schools.
