In response to personal circumstances, she announced the closure of the restaurant section on February 1, yet continued to operate a food truck to maintain her connection with the community. She is also planning to acquire a second food truck to enhance flexibility and sustain her operations.

Prior to her current role, Rev. Bissell dedicated a decade to the Visiting Nurses Association, where she provided essential care and support to patients in need. Her commitment to health care extended through five years at New London Hospital, where she balanced her responsibilities while pursuing coursework to become a medical assistant and phlebotomist. This period was characterized by her ongoing pursuit of opportunities to help others and make a meaningful impact.

Earlier in her career, Rev. Bissell worked as a certified nursing assistant at a nursing home, gaining experience across various care units. The emotional demands of long-term care led her to transition into home care, where she found more manageable connections with patients and their families.

Her professional journey began in New Hampshire at age fourteen, when she joined a local restaurant and impressed management with her determination over two summers. She then advanced to McDonald's, where she became a crew trainer before moving on to Friendly's during high school, a position she enjoyed while saving for her first car.

Rev. Bissell's academic pursuits reflect her enduring interest in medicine. She completed coursework toward becoming a doctor at Southern Vermont College before shifting focus due to co-parenting challenges. Her adaptability allowed her to channel her passion for helping others into roles that directly supported patient care.

A significant influence throughout Rev. Bissell's life has been her faith. She attributes her achievements and perseverance to Jesus Christ, crediting Him with shaping both her personal growth and her professional path. In addition to her business and health care endeavors, Rev. Bissell has maintained active involvement in civic initiatives.

She became an ordained minister on August 23, 2009, further expanding her capacity for service within the community. Her charitable efforts include organizing a major initiative last year that provided Christmas support to 21 families in North Carolina and collaborating with local ministers to deliver essential goods.
