Dr. Gomez Uncu has established a distinguished career marked by innovation and leadership at the intersection of medicine, psychology, and applied behavior analysis. Her work emphasizes emotional intelligence development and the integration of physiological regulation into behavioral practice.
Dr. Gomez Uncu is the originator of the Non-Linear Physiology–Behavior Equation™ and the founder of the Hidden Physiology of Behavior Framework™, original scientific contributions that together form the theoretical and structural foundation of the emerging interdisciplinary discipline known as Behavioral Physiology Science™. From 2022 to 2024, Dr. Gomez Uncu served as Associate Clinical Director at ABA of Southwest Florida, where she further developed expertise in clinical leadership, supervision, and program development. This medical experience established the physiological foundation that later informed her interdisciplinary work integrating medicine, psychology, and applied behavior analysis.
In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Gomez Uncu is an accomplished author. In 2025, she published The Non-Linear Physiology–Behavior Equation™, a work proposing physiology as the primary driver of behavior rather than a secondary consequence of antecedents and consequences. She also co-authored How to Slay the Beast: Conquering the BCBA Exam (6th Edition) in 2025, which has been formally accepted by the Miami-Dade Central Public Library. Three additional authored works have been accepted into the Fort Myers Regional Library, extending her reach within both professional and public domains.
