GROVELAND, MA, January 16, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert T. Dooley has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Dooley currently serves as owner and artist at Bob Dooley Studio, a role he has held since 2020. In this capacity, he specializes in painting realistic landscapes and animals, consistently posting his artwork to his website and actively participating in art competitions. He regularly submits his work to galleries, networks with art organizations and reviews and updates his portfolio to maintain a dynamic presence in the art community. Mr. Dooley's expertise in realistic landscape and animal painting has earned him recognition among peers and collectors alike.

A significant milestone in Mr. Dooley's artistic career was the selection of his painting "Stream with Ripples" to be featured atop a Manhattan Arts International article. Chosen from among 2,000 entries, this achievement established his reputation and expanded his connections within the art world. His dedication to excellence has also been recognized through awards from Camelback Gallery, Teravana International and Manhattan Arts International.

Before establishing himself as a professional artist, Mr. Dooley worked in information technology support with the Break/Fix Unit at Liberty Mutual. In this position, he provided technical assistance and contributed to the efficient operation of the organization's systems. Earlier in his career, he gained valuable experience as a manufacturing worker at a paper mill, where he developed a strong work ethic and attention to detail that would later inform his artistic practice.

Mr. Dooley is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the Newburyport Art Association and Manhattan Arts International. These affiliations have provided him with opportunities for professional development, collaboration and increased visibility within the art community.

His educational background includes coursework at Lowell Technological Institute ( Now known as UMass Lowell ) New Hampshire College, now known as Southern New Hampshire University, and at Northern Essex Community College. He is also a graduate of Methuen High School. The knowledge acquired through these academic experiences has supported his growth as an artist by providing foundational skills and encouraging lifelong learning.

Mr. Dooley attributes his success to his remarkable ability to retain and recall information from documentaries, art demonstrations and personal experiences. He credits his patience, persistence and willingness to learn from trial and error as key factors in developing his skills as a painter after retirement.

His journey into the arts began later in life during the COVID pandemic when he rediscovered his passion for painting. Although he demonstrated artistic talent as a young adult, early discouragement led him to set aside these aspirations while focusing on work and family responsibilities. In the 1980s, he returned to art by creating charcoal pencil drawings inspired by Norman Rockwell. The positive feedback from friends and family encouraged him to produce around thirty pieces, which he generously gave away. This period helped him develop an understanding of positive and negative space, an essential element that now underpins his approach to painting.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Dooley is civically engaged with organizations such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, reflecting his commitment to giving back to the community.

Born in Methuen, Mr. Dooley is also a dedicated parent to four children. In his personal time, he enjoys playing chess online. Looking ahead, he intends to continue building his artistic legacy by creating additional artworks and potentially donating paintings to nursing homes and charities such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, ensuring his contributions have a lasting positive impact on the community.
