Earlier in his career, Mr. Taylor served as marketing manager for Jefferies in Atlanta. His educational background includes earning a bachelor's degree in business administration from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. Attending on a four-year golf scholarship, he distinguished himself as team co-captain during his sophomore year, and captain his junior and senior years. The discipline and leadership skills developed through collegiate athletics have contributed significantly to his approach in business and management.

Mr. Taylor is also civically active, serving on the board of the American Lung Association. His overall achievements have been recognized with several honors, including induction into the Bourbon Hall of Fame in 2024 and receipt of a golf scholarship at Murray State University.
