NEW YORK, NY, January 23, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Matthew Wilson, better known as TITAN, was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, birthed in the impoverished North Side district, he grew up a product of the Ghetto, with the Mind of a Visionary. In the 80s, a new Culture was exploding on the scene, called Hip Hop Music, and in this music is where Titan would find his Purpose. "I was young, and in the hood, it was so much evil, and murder and desperation, and my moms and pops would play oldies, and Rap, and I just gravitated towards the sound. It was kind of like a haven from the Bad in my life, My anti-Drug". Artists like Rakim, Nas, Jay-Z, NWA, Biggie, Cam'ron, Tupac and 50 Cent, would inspire this young man to become a musician, and Create Art. At age eleven, Titans father sat him down and posed a question. "My dad sat me down and asked me what I wanted to do with my life, and I told him I wanted to do music, I would see my dad on weekends because he owned a trucking company, so he was gone during the week, so the next weekend when I went to his house, he had went to the music store and bought me a Home studio". Titan was trying to indulge fully in the music but found it hard to escape the trappings of the hood, having been arrested as early as nine, and continuing to get arrested into his teenage years, but when he turned 18, fate would smile at him. "I had a friend in the hood, his family was street Kings, and I would be at his house rapping all the time, and I had a little play sister who lived across the street, and her cousin and my Uncle Rio, we're starting a Record Label, Get Money Records, and she told her cousin about me, so he came over to hear me rap, and they offered me a Contract". Titan began recording, and performing at Concerts, opening up for such acts as "Chingy, G-Unit, T.I, and Juvenile in Memphis, Tennessee". Things were looking bright for Titan, when tragedy struck, on March 27, 2005, Titan would be Shot, by unknown assailants, in front of his grandmother's house. "I was out in front of my GMA house, talking to a girl, and out of nowhere somebody just start shooting at me, I took off running, and I felt a hard smack in my leg, but I didn't fall I just dived between cars in the yard, they still shooting, so I get up and run to my GMA back window to the garage, and climbed in, my mom let me in the house, and when I sat down I just started bleeding". Though he survived the attack, not long after, he would find himself in turmoil again.

In 2006, Titan was arrested, in connection with a shooting, would be charged, convicted at trial, and sentenced to a 24-year prison sentence. "That was my lowest Point, just broken, and I knew I was going to prison, and I was just fed up with the streets, I lost everything literally, but I had to be strong because I wanted to come home. I gave my life to God, and started making changes, and plans for my Release". Titan served 14 years of his sentence and was released in 2019. Now with a passion to be redeemed, and remove Himself from the streets, Titan got a job 2 days after being freed, and started working to renew his life. "I came home in 2019, and I just started working, low end jobs. I used to pray in prison and tell God that I wanted a Construction job, because I heard they make a lot of money, and I said God help me leave the streets and be a Good Man, so I was praying for better opportunities, and I said God if you love me, let someone call my Phone with an opportunity,30 minutes later, my big Cousin called and said he got a construction contract in Colorado, did I want to come, I took it and it was the greatest thus far decision I made". Titan started working in the Mountains, flying back and forth between Oklahoma and Colorado, recording in the studio on the Weekends. The contract ended, and Titan had his supervisor transfer him to Denver, and Fate would smile again. "Titan was working building hospitals, banks, schools, and I would leave a ten-hour shift, and go to the studio for another 5-6 hours, and my Girl introduced me to her dad, who is a Business Magnate, and he said I keep hearing about your music, let's go to dinner and talk. I played him my song "Therapy", and he loved it, and decided to invest, and we launched "Addictive Kulture Entertainment". Titan has been running up views on all social media platforms, and was rapidly gaining popularity, and then once more, fate was clapping on the sidelines.

In 2023, Titan was pulled over by the police and racially profiled as a Drug Dealer in his new BMW SUV. Luckily, Titan recorded the interaction with the Cops on his Phone. He posted it, and it went Viral, on Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, to the tune of almost 10 million views. The buzz made fans subscribe, and then the music started to skyrocket. Titan started hearing from the Vets of the Music Industry. The World-famous DJ Epps About - DJ Epps, of Rock the Bells radio on Sirius Radio, would be the First to break a Titan Record to the world. "Titan met DJ Epps https://heavyhits.com/blog/meet-dj-epps/, and he thought my music was dope, and started playing it, then he invited me to open up for Rick Ro$$ in Indianapolis, In, and it was just surreal, shot out my Guy Epps, mad respect". Titan got the call to do a joint Project with famed multi-platinum producer Figurezmadeit, responsible for a slew of notable hits by "Money Man, lil Baby, Migos, Future, and Lil Durk". Now preparing for the release of his new single, the aforementioned "Therapy", this phenom is ready to tackle the Charts, and take the industry by Storm. per Titan "I don't know what the Future holds for me, I'm just praying that God Guides me into the destiny He wrote for my Life, you know smile at me again".
